Does the Bible directly oppose witchcraft? Does it make any difference if it is white or black?
The Bible is unequivocal about prohibiting witchcraft in any and all forms. For example, Leviticus 19:26-28 makes evident that witchcraft was prohibited for God's people even in Old Testament times. Furthermore, in 1 Samuel 28 we have the story of how King Saul expelled all mediums and wizards from the Holy Land and then himself consulted a medium, which the narrator of the story makes clear is a very grave sin. In the New Testament, Paul lists sorcery as one of the sins that can keep a person out of the kingdom of God (Galatians 5:20).

Hello
I have a question in reference to witchcraft..you cite the old testament as example that God's people are not to be involved in it...but a few questions down, you say, literally :Christians are not under the Old Covenant...so why use the old testament to say that we must not use witchcraft...you also cite Paul...the same person that said that woman are only saved through motherhood, among other things, that Christ never said...if withcraft (and I'm refereing here to the white one) was such a terrible thing, wouldn't you expect Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, for whose name we call ou selve Christians, to say something about it? I don't mena to come ironic or sardonic...I'm not into white witchcraft anymore because, once I found Jesus I felt no need for anything else to fulfil my life...but this kind of things really consfuse me
Tnhak you in advance for your answer
