Like so many, since coming into contact with NDW's work, I have become one of his biggest fans.
It is still incredible to me that through his work my life has taken such a profound change.
His material has answered & continues to answer ALL metaphysical questions I've ever had, satisfactorily.
The above answer is another seemingly uncanny question that has been plaguing me for some time now. Yes I'm aware that ALL answers are in his work, but there's so much which I forget despite my daily intensive studies.
I THANK YOU MR NDW.

Thanks for asking all of the right questions and giving us insightful answers. At least 99% of the time I feel like they are my own. Not bad odds. I have long been a believer in following one's passion, joy and peace. I believe if we do this we cannot fail to miss God as we cannot fail to miss ourSelves.
This post goes hand in hand with a little book you recently recommended which I would like to reiterate the value of for anyone questioning whether their life's purpose is being fulfilled. It is called Five Wishes by Gay Hendricks and he even has a website where people can take the five wishes challange and post their dreams to aid the universe in creating the reality. Such a short book and so easy to read yet so powerful as it does more than ask a simple question--it creates a new perspective tailor made to the individual. Thanks for that. I have a feeling this little book is going to change my life for the better.

I totally agree with Neale's comments re the California fires and other "disasters". I was 14 when JFK was assassinated. What I remember most is noticing that everywhere I went, I had a sense that everyone was feeling essentially the same thing. There was a brief moment of connection, of recognition that we were all having the same experience, to some extent. After that I lived through two major California earthquakes, and the same thing happened. Separateness and differences were out the window; people were there for each other, recognizing our basic sameness and connection. I have often thought how sad it is that it takes these kinds of events before we come to that awareness, and then it fades again and we return to our isolation and dis-connection. There is so much to be recognized in this event; a huge opportunity for a shift in consciousness.

"When NDW (or anyone) shares an insight and it resonates within us or validates something we believe it does not mean that they have ALL the answers for everyone."
Absolutely true--noone has the one right pathway to God. There are many ways to God and we all carry within us God's truths just waiting to be tapped. I am a critical reader not a blind one, so when I read NDW's writings or any work for that matter I take from it what is true for me personally and discard the rest without a blink of an eye. I don't swallow anyone's writings or belief system wholesale unless it resonates with my own. I am as stubborn in this regard as a mule--just ask my mom.
With that being said, I do believe that there are general principles taught in some inspired works such as the Bible, or any great inspirational art work, or any great inspirational music, which are meant for more than just one individual. For example, the fundamental principles that we are one and that God is within each of us are ideas translated in the Bible which are not just meant for the particular prophet God was communicating directly with. On the same hand, I think many of the books given to NDW were not meant solely for him and him alone. In my opinion, I believe the books were meant to be shared for public consumption. What the public chooses to do with the awareness raised in the books is entirely up to the individual as it is an individual's journey we are on. So you see, Cully, we don't really disagree on that point.

Very well put, Connie. Thank you. Thank you to all of the people, including Brett, whose lives are right now exemplifying the theory WE ARE ONE in ACTION.

Here is something to ponder with regard to questions and answers circulating the globe. We only recognize anOther's answer to a question as true if we already know it to be true from within. I have to already have the "Aha" moment within before I can perceive it in another.

Neale,
Within the realization of the Graciously Organized Design of One Awareness, individuation is allowed to realize the benefit of all its choices, gracious and ungracious alike.
Where One fails to appreciate outcomes through observation, direct participation frequently serves to remind One.
Those circumstances for which mankind cannot provide, the Universe naturally provides.
Loss of housing and displacement of a populace have been the instructive consequences of our misguided policies in Iraq. Even observing the consequences of our ungracious choices [there is no more ungracious a choice than 'acceptable collateral damage'], our nation has not changed its policies. Even after Katrina, our government has not learned from what the Universe has naturally provided here at home. We have called these circumstances to ourselves with our ungracious choices through our leaders. We have empowered their ungracious choices inviting instructive consequences.
It is the Law of Grace functioning here: All Choice generates benefit for purposes of appreciation. Gracious choices generate benevolence for sharing. Ungracious generate instructive consequences that remind One that a more gracious choice was missed in the choosing. The benefits of gracious and ungracious choices might be graciously appreciated. The Choice is ours. We are all One. One would not have embarked on the Journey as Many in the Game of Life in any other way. The Law of Grace PROVES The Law of One.
It is time to dis-empower the choices of our misguided ungracious leaders. In so doing, we demonstrate to the Universe that we understand how to make choices that serve all of us, and not just the ungracious few.
"Atlantis and Lemuria fell because they made a god of their technology rather than a technology of their GOD." 6.25.01
Graciously Organized Design is the technology of GOD.
Namaste.

Thank you, Amilius, for that very moving post. What an enlightened way to view any calamity of any sort in our world--a missed opportunity to choose graciously to "generate benevolence for sharing." I think it behooves us as well to view our mistakes not as mistakes but as missed opportunities to put love in action.
As a collective we do have the power to "dis-empower the choices of our misguided ungracious leaders", the few who fail to act as if all the peoples including our environment is one. "In so doing, we demonstrate to the Universe that we understand how to make choices that serve all of us, and not just the ungracious few."
And, thank you Cully.
Love and peace,
Michelle

A Thousand Names for Joy
Byron Katie ----
I am a woman, noticing that No thing can disturb me
What was "fire" before we humans gave it a name?
Combustible materials turning into a blaze
Wow-and here am I marveling at my amaze
Trees, homes, possesions turned to ash
Agreeing with the nameless One
This too shall pass, or not
Onto another natural thing
I am a woman supported
on a chair, breathing air
the earth is firm below
the sky remains timeless
NO thing good, or bad
A lover of what is
The polarity of pain
is the great gain
The pearl found

The Gift
Down You Came From Heights Of Endless Beauty,
With Eyes Of Blue Fire,
You Invaded Our Perceptions,
Far Beyond The Winds Of Time, You Stand,
Before The Crowds Of Pain Around You,
Immersed In The Crys; "Great Healer!
"Give Us Your Blessing!"
such lament, unrelenting.
Every Oak Tree Bows Before You As You Walk
Your Sovereign Path.
Perfection Of Spirit You Are, Without Flaw,
And So Regal In Wisdom,
You Came Here Giving Your Life As Ransom,
A Lamb, To A Sin Filled World.
The Cruelty Of A Heinous Spirit, You Gave
Your All For Us, And Departing So Quickly,
That You Left Behind Your Endless Love,
There be none that compare to you, Yeshua.

the fires are subsiding (except in Arrowhead - only 40% containment there), and though there has been horrible distruction and loss there is now an end in sight. I wonder, could it be because so many joined (knowingly and unknowingly) to *pray* for the fires to stop, for the death and distruction to stop, for the loss to stop.
What would happen if we all now started to be thankful for the fires subsiding?

I live in Big Bear, which is the community east of the slide fire. We are used to these fires, it is a part of nature. Actually the forest service has done such a good job fighting the fires for decades that there is too much brush that has not burned. And actually too many trees (although that is debatable since too many trees here can help balance out not enough trees in the rain forest as far as being a CO2 sink and producing O2.
Four years ago we had to evacuate, but it snowed on Halloween which put the fire out and possibly saved Big Bear. We had a big one a few weeks ago but it was controlled, and now it acts as a firebreak from these two fires. So we will be fine yet again.
In fact, I got an email from someone today who said a man who was an evacuee down the mountain was quoted from her as saying:
"To quote William, a gentleman at the evacuation site, “God is giving another opportunity to humanity to come together in Love”. He had just, a half hour before, found out he had lost his home. I asked him how large his family is and he shared that he has 4 kids and that his wife had just died from cancer in September. He was sitting alone on his cot so I asked him where his kids were. He pointed to two of them… they were walking around with trash bags picking up trash as we spoke. I asked him if his kids knew yet that their home was lost and he said, “Yes, but they signed up to volunteer and their shift just began, so they are keeping their appointment to serve.” Before I could even utter the parting words of “God bless you”, William, with a huge smile on his face, said it first and blessed me."
After we evacuated 4 years ago from the old fire, I thought of a project idea called "Your Neighbor" where households on one end of the mountain range would match up with households on the other end, and meet one or two times a year to get to know each other, then if there is ever a fire evacuation, the household not evacuated hosts the evacuated household until they can go back to their home or get money from FEMA to rent a place. I was not involved with any church then (a likely way to start such a project) but I have proposed it today to the religious science church I have gone to a few times, and perhaps I can get the project started this coming year. The timing isn't so great, but there will be other fires in the future.
One things I like about this site is they list the cause of the fire as "unknown".
To me too many people are sensitive to the destruction of woodlands and there are a lot of real estate developers who want to get their hands on that land for the sake of expansion.
To be the best way to do it is to burn it down.
People blame God for a many tradegy caused by man.
For what I can see, God don't get involved with the affairs of man, he leaves us to find our own solutions.
I blogged at another site about having a Time Machine and moving forward into the future some 2,000 years. This is what I wrote.
God has a life time to "Get it Right", and maybe that's why He don't step into man's affairs.
Cause he knows from previous experiences that Man will eventually destroy Man and so He waits until we all gone and start rebuilding Earth again.
We don't know how many times it may have happened before and we don't know how many times it will happen in the future.
All we do know is we are here and we are here for only a short time...God lives forever, and I'm sure he wouldn't like my little time machine showing up in the future just as he has recreated "The New" Adam and Eve of the year 4007 and told them to go about the garden and run around butt naked...and as they see me and stand their and began to talk to God they must ask Him the all important question about "Who is she and where did she come from?
I think God would be so busted.....like..."Oh yeah, did I mention that you were not my first creation?" Oh my what a conversation we would have.
I think we take ourselves and our lives here a bit too seriously.
What God is telling us to me is this. Enjoy the life you have and live it to it's fullest. Yes, I am here, Yes, I do care, but since you all created this problem, it's up to you to fix them.
I got greater things in the Universe to worry about.
Personally, I don't blame God for man's decisions, whether that decision resulted in the Slavery, Holocust, 911, Hurrican Katrina, Tsunami's across the world, oil spills, starvation if Africa, or wild fires in California.
We find each time that what is left for man to do is to pick him self up, dust him self off and take what life he has and start over again.
What God is telling us is that is isn't so important for us to believe in Him, it's more important that we can believe in us.

I trully have to agree with what has been said so far, we are in another learning experience, something our dear country hasn't seen compared to other countries. War or peace it doesn't really matter if we haven't learned our lessons, and I do believe God is rather disturbed with us, especially when we become greedy and only interested in self interest - that's not why we are here. I am grateful this day for health and the ability to think clearly and know what my life has truly been, have found a peace within far beyond the accumulating of material stuff, the enjoyment in raising my children and now being willing to let them go, go to do what they have to do also in learning their lessons of life, none of my business anymore, except to let them know I love them and support them, same goes for friends, loving them for who they are not for what they represent or whatever, so I shall continue on my wonderful jurney of life, knowing I have learned my lessons and hopefully can pass them on to others as well. My needs are met so why worry, we as humans do not need fancy buildings to live in, just a warm comfy little place too call home and trust in the Higher Power. If everybody would just learn what love is truly and just pass it on, share with the less fortunate, blessings to all. Jackie

Each time the postings have been very benign, without advertising, without negative or obscene words.
I know not why this has happened. But my 2 friendly email inquires have never be answered either. I can understand not answering a very negative angry comment, but a short friendly question of inquiry totally stumps me.
"Separateness and differences were out the window; people were there for each other, recognizing our basic sameness and connection. I have often thought how sad it is that it takes these kinds of events before we come to that awareness, and then it fades again and we return to our isolation and dis-connection. There is so much to be recognized in this event; a huge opportunity for a shift in consciousness."
Very well put, Connie. Thank you. Thank you to all of the people, including Brett, whose lives are right now exemplifying the theory WE ARE ONE in ACTION.
Nothing is real but thinking makes it so. All we need to do to create that shift in consciousness is alter our perspective. As Wisdum so eloquently puts it, "Perspective is everything!"

Here is something to ponder with regard to questions and answers circulating the globe. We only recognize anOther's answer to a question as true if we already know it to be true from within. I have to already have the "Aha" moment within before I can perceive it in another.
Love and peace,
Michelle
P.s. Marko, I have never had trouble with censorship at Beliefnet, so perhaps it was a coincendental "glitch."

Michelle, I never thought that we "disagreed". I enjoy your posts and respect your opinions and ideas/ideals... I was pleased to see your statement and simply wanted to comment.

absolutely true, Marko, that's why I said, "it unsettles me when some of the people on this blog seem to think that NDW has ALL the answers"
Neale,
Within the realization of the Graciously Organized Design of One Awareness, individuation is allowed to realize the benefit of all its choices, gracious and ungracious alike.
Love and peace,
Michelle
Everthing is perfect ALWAYS
Life, death, seasons change
Oceans roar, rivers run,
trees die, people die,
Taking responsibility
Away from the Tao
Away from God
Makes me

A Thousand Names for Joy
Byron Katie ----
I am a woman, noticing that No thing can disturb me
What was "fire" before we humans gave it a name?
Combustible materials turning into a blaze
Wow-and here am I marveling at my amaze
Trees, homes, possesions turned to ash
Agreeing with the nameless One
This too shall pass, or not
Onto another natural thing
I am a woman supported
on a chair, breathing air
the earth is firm below
the sky remains timeless
NO thing good, or bad
A lover of what is
The polarity of pain
is the great gain
The pearl found
in the dung
again.

Blessings,
Cully
DEAR RIA,
I WISH YOU WELL ON YOUR NEW ADVENTURE, I WILL SUPPORT YOU. I KNOW WHAT IT FEELS LIKE FOR THOSE AROUND YOU TO NOT BELIEVE IN YOU. OR IN MY CASE EVEN LOVE ME. IWILL BE HAPPY TO HELP YOU IN ANY WAY I CAN. I WOULD LOVE TO HELP. JUST LET ME KNOW WHAT I CAN DO. MAYBE WE CAN TAKE THIS ADVENTURE AND IT WILL BEHAPPY TO HELP IN ANY WAY. JUST LET ME KNOW.
This site http://calfire.blogspot.com/ will keep everyone updated on what is known about the California fires.
Jackie
