And so, we move into yet another year. Another cycle in the Grand Cycle that is Life Itself. They go so fast, these cycles. They go so fast. Have you noticed? Barely has one begun than it seems over. It...
I thnik I really needed to read this first thing this morning. I have made many major mistakes over the last year that has brought me to probably the rockiest time in my life. My biggest regrets is that my mistakes have affected my young daughter and though we are slowly working to pick up the pieces, I torture myself with guilt, shame and feeling sorry for myself. I literally stayed up all night beating myself up and worrying about how we are going into this new year so shipwrecked. When you talk about recreating ourselves, I suddenly realized that I can work on changing those things about me that I find do not serve me well. Summoning the courage to so is a daunting challenge, yet may be well worth it to set this ship on a different course and have a new song to sing at the end of 2008. Thank you for waking me up and reminding me that I am not my yesterdays, my failures or my limitations. With a bit of effort I just may find my best me yet!

Thank you, Sheila. What a powerful thing to state a declaration outloud for all of the world to hear! Congratulations on taking that first most powerful step to define yourself anew--declaring it!
here is my beginning New Year's Resolutions list:
1. enjoy every moment and live it like it is my last and show
everyone around me how much I love them
2. paint more
3. write more
4. love more
5. fear less
6. figure out that law of attraction once and for all!
7. reach out to help others more concretely
8. take a dance class
9. help us save the world together
10. send you all my love and peace,
And, A Happy New Year, Too!

The book, Conversations with God, has been the truth that has truly set me free. 2007 has been the best year of my life, and I expect even better things in 2008. There is nothing that I cannot do, think, and become. And the joy is almost too much to bear. Thank you, Neale, for the courage to put those awesome conversations to paper. You, indeed, are a true messenger! Namaste!!!

I needed to hear about risks. Last year I became a risk taker again, rocking the boat on my life and I find myself in a different place then I thought I'd end up. It's easy to play it safe and stay in our luttle ruts, and be miserable. Joseph Campbell said "Follow your Bliss" and I decided to do just that. Now, I find myself worried about money and trying to build a new life, and I was regretting what I did, but I know that is wrong. Everywhere around me I am getting messages to just have faith for a little longer. All the big stuff is resolving itself, and the small stuff isn't worth worrying over. I feel a new promise in this New Year. And some if it might seem tough, but that's because I've forgotten to listen to the inner voice and rememebr teh vision of what I am creating. I'm afraid again, and I've stopped taking the risks I know will lead me to the place I need to be.
Thank you for reminding me that life is too short to do things that don't make you happy.
Namaste.

Karen, your comment is ditto for me, huge ditto. I loved reading Neale's post today to help me look back at 2007 and see all the great lessons I learned and how it brought me to a joy I never knew was available to me. I am swimming in it all now and I see only more brightness for 2008 and beyond.
good thoughts and joy to all, may your 2008 give you the best gift of all: you

Hi, Thank you for this post. I will recommend it in my newsletter. I recreated myself in 2007 by taking control over my own health. I had been told I would have several chronic illnesses and be in chronic pain forever. After studying the mind/body connection and the law of attraction I decided to heal myself and that I have. In January it will be a year I have been pain and pain pill free. 2008 will be awesome because I now KNOW the kind of power I have and BELIEVE I can accomplish anything I set my mind to. I now blog about natural ways to heal pain and feel my purpose is to empower people to be as healthy as they can be naturally. Thank you -- happy 2008! Gratefully, Jenny
Thank you dear Neale, for making me awake. By reading your books and my reflection.... To be who you wanna be. To be who I wanna be. It was a fantastic year so to speak. Quite my job. Made a big move into this free world by just being. Being who I want to be. And thats what I will be doing. Just Be....
Although I am still working on the New Me, your books definitely changed the way I view the World.
Peace to you my friend.
