Have a nice and pleasant evening tomorrow. And make it a happy happening with outcome.
I once worked with a group of computer engineer software developers who work for a well known company. They showed me a website, kind of like a club, of scientists who are absolutely convinced beyond a doubt that there are beings beyond earth. It was fascinating to hear the scientists talk with such absoulte resolve about something that is so often "ridiculed" in society--"space aliens" has often been fodder for tabloid papers and not the stuff of real journalism, real science inquiry, etc. I wonder why this is so? Why do we have a need to not share experiences (and there are many documented even by the govt.) with the public?
The answer is a four letter word: FEAR.
Love and Peace,
Michelle
World governments won't admit that other life forms
exist because they create a giant hole in our defenses and to
admit this to the public would be death to allot of governments.
And that will not happen until a UFO lands on the White House
lawn and won't go away.
yes.
but i don't believe in politics.
I definitely believe in other intelligent forces beyond our planet.
I also dont believe that we really need to be afraid.
Maybe they want to learn from us and maybe we could learn something from them. I think it would be wonderful if we could just accept the possibility and see it as something exciting.
God is not a "wasteful" God.
WHY is it so difficult to believe with so MANY other planets there WOULDN'T be life-form on them?
Are we that narcissistic?
Just because we see things in the sky that we can't explain, why does it necessarily follow that those things come from "outer space"? To me it's just as likely that there's some sort of "advanced civilization" among us, or somewhere on or inside the Earth that we know nothing about.
It is also possible that these are some sort of mass apparition or (hard to believe as it might be) an unexplained natural phenomenon.
Whatever they are, alien spaceship is only one of many possible explanations - fact is, we really don't know.
Really, whether there are "flying saucers" has nothing to do with whether there's life on other planets. Surely most planets that have life (even intelligent life) do not have the ability to travel to other solar systems or galaxies. The likelihood is that there ~is~ life out there, regardless of what we may see (or think we see) in our skies from time to time...

I think it is very arrogant of us to think we are the only intelligent life in this great big Universe.
Truth is stranger then fiction. weather I believe in UFO's or not is of no importance. Our Planet is so diverse differnt cultures languages.Just traveling other countries feels like other planets. I suspect theres some type of alien with the ability to look human that live amongst us. Would aliens really be that different then any other race. Not to me.
I'm pleased to see this topic addressed. For me, the possibility of life on other planets is more than probable. Look at our world objectively for a moment . . . Our oceans, mountains, deserts, rain forests, jungles, cities and towns; worlds within our world.
Wouldn't it be ignorant to assume that God does not exist outside of these realms, or that the 'god' of aliens is not our 'god'? The idea that life exists on other planets, even other dimensions, only strengthens my belief in a higher power. Why would it be so illogical to believe that God 'created' life elsewhere?
Ever since my face from my first communion photograph showed up in Chilbotenham, England on Aug. 22, 2001, I've been quite sure that we have off-planet spectators who are fond of the occasional cosmic 'prank'.
We are all One at play with itself in realization of Graciously Organized Design.
That play includes displays and pranks. Namaste
I guess I'm the only UFO skeptic posting. I just don't buy it. First of all, when they were testing the stealth bomber and stealth fighter I'm sure that generated a lot of UFO reports. Secondly, while I agree that there is a possibility of life on a planet in another solar system, it would take too long to reach our planet even traveling close to the speed of light. Thirdly, if such highly intelligent beings were to somehow jump through a worm hole of some sort of jump from a parrallel universe to ours, they'd be intelligent enough to talk to us and not be shy. Nor would they be afraid of us since their technology (and weapons) would be vastly superior to ours. ET would be a guest on Larry King Live in other words.
I too think it is very ignorant and arrogant to think we are the only life forms in this vast universe.

Well done Neale for raising this issue. It's all relevant. Yes of course life exists elsewhere, just look up into the night sky. Life must be there in a myriad of forms but a God is there with them also - the same one we have. I believe they are technically and spiritually advanced enough to have nmot destroyed themselves (as we seem intent on doing) and can travel here using a means we cannot yet comprehend. They observe our caveman behaviour and pity us though help in whatever way they can. I believe we are protected by them too; protected from those that value our planet more than we do.
If we could open our eyes and see our real place in the whole Universe and our relatinship with God, then we might begin to progress as a race.
