If you believe that life has anything to do -- anything at all -- with the needs or goals or accomplishments of your body, then you haven't understood anything at all about the purpose of your existence, about the reason...
Neale, you are truly a "Bringer of the Light," a messenger who shares your joy of life, thank you! We are not our bodies, but individuations of the Source, which is God. Here is one way to look at this process: If you think of an analogy about a river – it is like our life unfolding. The water in the river before it descends over the cliff, is us all as One – with God and ‘All That Is.’ When we are born into this world, it is like we (the One) fall from the heights and individuate as tiny water droplets, pulling away from the One on our quick descent down the waterfall. This is our time to experience what it is like to be separate, so we can totally enjoy our return to Oneness. Our fall is short lived, as is our life on this planet, but it can be sublime – if we remember Who We Are during our fall. Of course we then join the “Oneness” again at the bottom of the waterfall; this is like our physical death. We really don’t die; we just change form – as the individual water droplets do as they combine with the rest of the river for a pure joyous journey along the river bed of eternity.

To maybe help shed some enlightenment on why some of us may be here I would like to offer two great inspirational readings:
The first is "THE DAFFODIL PRINCIPLE", Gene Bauer's Daffodil Garden, just type in on any search engine and you will find it.
The second one is, "THE MAN WHO PLANTED TREES AND GREW HAPPINESS", by Jean Giono This too can be found on any search engine or in the 1981 Oct. issue of THE NEXT WHOLE EARTH CATALOG. One quote that I did not see on the internet story was:
"A MAN PLANTS TREES AND A REGION IS CHANGED. HIS STORY IS TOLD AND A WORLD IS CHANGED."
My initial post was in regards to the Global Warming Hoax Blog days ago where I had other thoughts re:this, but they seemed to be approp. for today's blog as well. That with each tiny step taken or bulb planted we become our own inspitation to the next step without knowing or thinking about what may be ahead other than the thought of another step or another bulb and what joy it may bring us.
Hve a wonderful day!!

Hi Neale,
It’s very interesting that you say that we need awareness.
“Only in the presence of Awareness can the primitive existence that we are all living in this barbarian civilization begin to have any meaning, to hold any promise, to provide any comfort in a way that makes sense to our soul.”
I just saw the interview of Geert Wilders on youtube. It was anything but the awareness that is currently required. I admire his fearlessness and wished that he could have done it the right way. He is outspoken and we definitely need fearless people like him to call a spade a spade, but once again he demonstrated what plagues our society. Which is to demonstrate the awareness that stems from seeing everything only from your point of view. His awareness reflected only what he saw in the past few decades. Islamic terrorists committing heinous crimes in the name of the Qur'an.
Now if he was serious about tackling Islamic extremism he should have probably read the blog on Deuteronomy that you posted couple of days ago. He should kept the book of Deuteronomy in one hand and the radical interpretation of Quran in the other and said that as much as I detest this Christian extremist ideology I do the extremist ideology of Islam. This would have been civilized and Mr Geert would have won the approval of many, I believe, from the Islamic world. Instead he has just helped the extremists recruit thousands more.
According to Mahatma Gandhi the only way we can increase our awareness is to see things from the point of view of others.
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man [woman] whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him [her]. Will he [she] gain anything by it? Will it restore him [her] to a control over his [her] own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to swaraj [freedom] for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away." – Mahatma Gandhi

I hear about forgetting Who I Am to remember Who I Am from Neale. How there is no such thing as death. etc etc
But if i forget who i am that for me is the same thing as death. You can call it forgetting or death but if i no longer know who i am that means that who i am no longer exists for my experience so who i am has died.
I am so confused! Help people!

Of course Life has something to do with the body. I would not be able to sit here and disagree with you in fromt of my computer, if I did not have a body. I need this tool which my body is, and I enjoy it. I am very happy and grateful in my daily life for all I have, soul and body and the opportunity to enjoy both. My life is like a colorful tapestry. And my life has been full of joys and sorrows. In 'Days of Goodbyes' I express my sorrow over losing my daughter, Maria. I was given a gift when Maria was born and she was in my life for 40 years. Joy and sorrow go together and the joy and pride she gave me made my sorrow deep and unending, because I shall always miss her. But I can honor her life by doing something in her name and spirit. Before she died, she said to me: "Don't cry, Mom, I will always be with you." She knew her life did not end in death. She knew her spirit would go on.
She would have liked to accomplish more than she felt she did in this life, but perhaps she is doing it by telling me never to give up, but to use her story to help in her fight against breast cancer. Our purpose in life may unfold as we move from day to day and become more and more aware of what it is. Our purpose and our soul may unfold like flowers in the early morning sun starts opening up and are in full bloom at the end of the day. God Bless. Ragnhild

This sentence popped into my head while washing dishes on 11.07.01. I sent it to a friend in an email and printed it out. It hangs by my computer.
We create more than we realize with much less than we are aware that changes more than we comprehend and in understanding this we may know all of it.
I know that's shy the now age emphasis is on Awareness. Namaste.

Greetings and Peace
I live in Korea, I am U.S. and had traveled back home to interview for a job that had my name all over it. I had a series of test to study for, essays to write and so on. I spent almost all of my money for the trip, and in fact had to borrow money to go. After all of that, I didnt get the job. However, my job may have been just to touch certain lives, not to get the job I so wanted and felt qualified for. I know that the universe always returns to us what we give. I am just keeping my mind and soul receptive to the good that has to come my way.

If this is life then EVERYTHING SUCKS.
Who wants to travel between 2 realms?I don't
And by the way for eternity?
The pure truth is LIFE SUCKS
Neale this statement about life makes me hate it purely.
If this is the thruth I'D RATHER BE MY BODY THAN A STUPID SOUL

I was blessed with my first "spiritual encounter" before the age of three. In many ways the knowledge that there is more beneath the surface than visible above it has been the cause of much of my suffering - a desperate attempt to permanently remove the veil! I have realised in recent years that the wisdom of Spiritual Truth is perfectly reflected in the realm of the physical, and simply being one hundred percent here, one hundred percent now (ie chosing to be in this body and to do this life) is exactly what my Soul desires. Bringing Body, Mind and Soul into alignment in this way ensures both Joy and Inner Peace. From this perspective, life is indeed beautiful.

Don't listen to all these knee-jerk responses.
There is alot to think about here, The body is in insessant worry mode and in the future you will look back and realize that most of your worries and material concerns were unfounded or dark clouds that you kept yourself under.
