Is the "God of our fathers" -- that is, the God in which our ancestors believed -- able and equipped to serve humanity in the 21st Century...or do we need a "new God"? That is the question that events of our time places before our species.

Chapter 3 - Part 2
Tomorrow's God will change form as each moment and each individual seeking to experience God dictates.Hold it. You mean we get to decide who and what God is?
Why are you so surprised? You’ve been doing that since time began. You call this Religion.Religions don’t decide who and what God is, religions simply tell us what God said about that.
And who says what God said?Religions.
So who is saying what?Religions are telling us what God told religions. Or, rather, what God told those upon whose teachings religions are based.
In other words, what God told human beings.Yes, what God told human beings, but in very special revelations to very special people at very special moments in human history.
Such as the revelations being made here, to you, at this time?Well now, that’s a pretty big stretch for most people. I don’t think that most people are going to believe or accept that God would choose to reveal Himself to me, personally, in the form of this on-paper dialogue, if that is what you’re asking.
I am very clear that they might not accept that Yesterday’s God would, given what you believe about him. But they might allow as to how Tomorrow's God would, because Tomorrow's God will talk with everyone, all the time. And that’s the Third Important Difference between Yesterday’s God and Tomorrow's God: 3. Tomorrow's God talks with everyone, all the time.How? How will this occur? Will everyone be having conversations with God?
Everyone IS having conversations with God, all the time. That will be an important message of The New Spirituality. God is communicating with humanity in every moment.“As you believe, so will it be done unto you.”I did not stop talking to human beings 2,000 years ago, nor have I ever selected only a few human beings to whom to reveal myself. I am revealing myself to all human beings all the time, yet only a few human being have embraced these revelations, have seen them for what they are, and have held them as sacred—and so it seems as though only a few have received them.
God—the force, the energy, the experience that you call Divinity—shows Itself in your life in the way that is exactly and perfectly suited to the time, place, and situation at hand. You either call that experience “God” or you call it something else—coincidence, synchronicity, “random event,” whatever. Yet what you call it does not change what it is—it merely indicates your belief system about that.
If you believe that the way Life is showing itself to you now is God, you will see it as God. If you do not believe that the way Life is showing itself to you now is God, you will not see it as God.
Some say that seeing is believing, but I tell you that believing is seeing.
That is correct. That truth has been taught by many masters. And in the future, many more human beings will experience God’s communications as exactly what they are: revelations from the Divine. People will not require God to “show up” in one way and only in that way. People’s beliefs about God will expand, and this expansion will increase their awareness of the God that has always been there.
This reminds me of the story of the blindfolded man who was led to an elephant, upon whose side his hand was placed. He was asked to describe what he felt. He did his best, but when he removed his blindfold he was astonished to find how little he had grasped of the totality of the experience.
That is a very instructive little story.
So, you’re saying that Tomorrow's God will be larger than we guessed, and that when we remove our “blindfolds” we will discover that God actually changes form, appearing in a multiplicity of ways depending upon the time and the place and the events of the moment.
That is how humanity will allow itself to experience God on this most blessed future tomorrow. Yesterday’s God—the God in whom most of humanity has believed thus far—is thought to be a Constant. That belief will not change, but it will expand.So, God is not a Constant?
God IS a Constant. God is that which is Constantly Present and Constantly Changing, suiting Itself to each moment, so that God may be understood in that moment, embraced in that moment, experienced in that moment, and expressed in that moment.You are never alone. God is always with you. Yet you may often be unable to see God or to experience God if you are expecting God to show up in a certain way—as do so many of those who believe in Yesterday’s God.
There is no limit to the ways in which God may show up. Many humans have attempted to place limits on God but have, as a result, only placed limits on themselves and on their ability to see and to experience God.
On your yesterdays you have believed in a limited God. On a blessed future tomorrow you will begin to believe in a limitless God, who can appear in any form, under any circumstances, to any person, and, indeed, to all people in all places all the time.
In truth, this is what is going on right now, but you do not believe it. On that blessed future tomorrow you will believe it, and then you will see it.
On what “future tomorrow”? When will this day come for me?
On the day that you select.
I don’t know what that means! C’mon, help me out here. I’ve been praying for peace, searching for truth, seeking enlightenment for decades. My species has been doing so for centuries and millennia! When will I find it? What will cause me to do so?
Whenever and whatever you choose.
What I choose to be the cause will be the cause?
That is correct. You may choose the cause to be some exterior calamity, or you may choose it to be a different kind of event. What you choose will be what you use.You could even choose to use this dialogue, this book that you are holding right now in your hands, to be the cause of your awakening. Many people will.
Each of you will use something in this Life to wake yourself up. And each of you will wake up. You are in a sleep from which all of you will awaken.
Yes, but if we awaken too late, it will be bad for us. We’ll be “left behind.” We’ll be deserted by God, because we didn’t answer His call while we still had a chance.
That is not true. That is what someone has told you, but that is not true. That is the God in whom some people want you to believe, and those who want you to believe this have used Fear as their tool, and would have you use it, too. Yet, if your wish is to see the Source of All Love, shall you use Fear as your looking glass?So this “knowing again” is the awakening.I tell you this: ALL of you will awaken. It is not my plan that some of you shall awaken and some of you shall not. What would be the good in that? What would be the point?
I assure you of this, my children: ALL OF YOU WILL AWAKEN.It is part of the process of evolution that you should awaken. It is part of the process of Life Itself.
Life IS the process of awakening. It is the process of Becoming. It is the process of knowing that one has become what one always was. It is the process of rejoining the inseparable. And that is not a process of actual rejoining, but of simply knowing again that separation never occurred.Let me repeat that, because it is extraordinarily important, and it is the theological lynchpin of The New Spirituality.
Life is the process of awakening. It is the process of Becoming. It is the process of knowing that one has become what one always was. It is the process of rejoining the inseparable—and that is not a process of actual rejoining, but of simply knowing again that separation never occurred.
Yes. Each of you will awaken, since no part of God will ever be deserted by God—nor could it ever be. For God cannot separate Godself from any part of God.Desertion of God by God is impossible. Separation of God from God is impossible. Such a thing would only be possible if there were something that is not a part of God. Yet there is nothing that is not a part of God, for God is separate from nothing, but is the All In All, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the Sum Total of Everything that ever was, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
And that’s the Fourth Important Difference between Yesterday’s God and Tomorrow's God:
4. Tomorrow's God is separate from nothing, but is Everywhere Present, the All In All, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the Sum Total of Everything that ever was, is now, and ever shall be.
This is the nature and the truth of God, and on the future tomorrow of your choosing, you will know it and acknowledge it.

has become The Chalice
held in the hands
of God.
As if what has been tipped
was never emptied

Neale is right the god of our father’s wont work for us any more. We desperately need a conscious change (a new god). If you are aware of the rising food prices that are going on currently, it’s just the start. As of today, 840 million people qualify as being affected by chronic hunger. With the rising cost of oil, its but natural that food prices and prices in general will go up. Everything from sanitation to production of goods literally everything will be affected, as we run only on oil.
According to wave mechanics in physics, two waves propagating in nature with the same phase have their combined intensity as the square of the sum of the intensities of the original waves.
80,000, that’s all the number of people that are required, according to an organization “only love prevails”, to change the consciousness of the planet. This is true as can be seen from history. Prior to arrival of Mahatma Gandhi in India there was no sense of self responsibility. Just one man and few of his followers drilled self responsibility in most of the 345 million Indians at the time. Martin Luther, rosa parks, literally only hand few and almost all the blacks were willing to proceed non violently against oppression. Mandela and a hand few and south africa was on its way to create a constructive reality. It takes just hand full of people with strong positive thoughts to change the reality.
The only catch is that these great leaders of history(a rarity in todays times) had changed their thought pattern for good. There was no back and forthness. Once they decide they will change their thoughts they stuck to it all their lives to the last.

Everything out there is very very scientific. If a lot of people do not change their consciousness we will end up seeing destruction on a scale never seen before in human history. It’s as simple as that.

I often wish I were incline to poetry....I find it so close to prayer and meditation. My words are but echos of the msgs passed on and repeated and repeated through the ages. (in college they call this plagerism sp?)! HA!!
How else but echos would we repeated get the chance repeatedly to wake up and listen. I apprecaite (in retrospect) being and being blessed to have felt this way my entire life.....Feeling so alone when adults and later peers always avoided topics such as these for conversation.
It was links that put CWG in my hands in 2002 and it is the links I picked up on in Neale's story and the simularities in everyone's life/process of growth stories that keep me ever committed to 'being there' for family and friends when then ask. They know that I have promoted openness and willingness in our family....Tolerence, forgiveness in it's time and everything changes. I promote imagination, new prespectives in all things, a healthy question of authority when it 'feels' that some is not right.
I don't think 'The God of Our Fathers' fulfilled the original 'promises' I was raised to believe were made. Seems to me we were sort of desegnated to experience, then eval what we do with them.
Oh, there we are again, back to motive of intent and human integrity!
Ya know we got this big thing about civilization....seems more on the outside appearances still instead of in the way we treat the other.
Thank You Neale for letting me know how many of us there are, that the Creator is ever present and a gathering brings us evercloser to that 5%!!

I have no problem entertaining the thought that god revealed his or her into Neal and he wrote this down in his book
neil could very well be a prophet, in all honesty I couldn't give a real opinion as I haven't read his work, just these last two excerpts.
I beleive prophets are alive and well today. I think God even talks to little ol nobody me, it is my job to listen,
it is my opinion that God doesn't change but our knowledge of God changes as we hopefully come to understand the master plan better as we go, who knows if one will go through many lifetimes to do this but it is my belief this is a good possibility. For all I know paul is here somewhere in this generation reincarnated.
