The world faces an extraordinary array of problems, as we all know. But here is something we do not know: Who is working to solve them?
Part of the problem with problems is that there are so many people who seem to want to do nothing about them. Usually this is because they firmly believe that there IS no problem; that those who SAY that there is are making it all up.
Others are clear that there IS a problem -- there are many of them, in fact, now facing humanity, they believe -- but they do not know what they can do about them. Which brings us to the critical question: Who are we and what are we doing here?
I mean, as human beings. Who are we? What is our status in the overall scheme of things? And what are we doing here on the earth? I want to explore this theme, and some larger themes about Life, in this space in the days upcoming, under the general title of a series of blogs: Looking Up Close at Life. I will delve into some of the writings in the Conversations with God series of books, using them as a reference, as we do so.
Let's begin by discussing Who We Are.
I believe that this is a soul journey we are on, having nothing to do with the human body. It has no more to do with your body than a bookcase that you built has to do with the hammer and saw you used to build it. Like the hammer and saw, your body is simply your tool. Nothing else. Simply that.
You can use that tool to gratify your own personal whims or to help the whole world. That choice is yours.
If you think you are your body, you may be tempted to make the first choice. If you believe that your body is something you have, not something you are, you may be inspired to make the second choice.
It is therefore important to always remember who you are. Say three times each day, morning, noon, and night: “I am not my body. My body is what I have, it is not what I am.”
This will help you to stay focused on your real identity, your real purpose for being here, your real reason for living, and the purpose of Personal Creation itself.
Personal Creation, as I call it, is a process of energy focusing that can be used to bring you every wonderful thing in life, anything at all that you desire. It is also true that you define yourself by what you say you desire. And it is also true that the process works best, and fastest, when you desire for others what you wish to experience for yourself. As explained earlier, this is because of The Multiplier Effect
.
Who we are is pure energy. Energy is the Essence of Life Itself. We are energy, and we are working with energy. We are one form of energy, working with other forms. When all is said and done we must realize that we are simply working with raw energy. Thoughts are energy. Things are energy. Emotions and feelings and experiences are energy. Life is energy expressed. God is energy.
Everything is energy.
When you want for the whole world what you want for yourself—peace, joy, wisdom, happiness, and love—you multiply the energy you send out. This is called The Multipier Effect.
When you do this at the same time that many others are doing it, you multiply your multiplication. You have increased your Impact Potential exponentially. You have literally harnessed the power of God. (“Wherever two or more are gathered, there am I.”)
This is important, because with regard to the challenges facing the world, the axiom is:
THE ENERGY THAT CREATES THE SOLUTION MUST BE EQUAL TO THE ENERGY THAT CREATES THE PROBLEM.
We'll look more at this on Thursday as we continue our exploration.
Meanwhile, it is nearly impossible not to note that today marks the end of a seemingly endless Primary Election Season, with folks in South Dakota and Montana finally getting their chance to go to the polls. After today, there will be no more reason for Sen. Hillary Clinton to remain in the running for the Democratic nomination for president. Her avowed commitment to stay in the race "until all the votes have been counted" has been met. She wound up with fewer delegates than Sen. Barack Obama. It is time to gracefully exit the stage and let this man launch his national campaign against Sen. John McCain. If she does not, if she carries her struggle all the way to her party's convention in August, she will probably destroy any chance of the Democrats regaining the White House in the Fall.
I am sure you agree.

Neal,
Why did you add in your post "I am sure you agree"? Why are you sure we all agree with your post. Would you please allow your readers to give their own meaning to what they read and observe? Your comment is subtle manipulation. Believe it or not, you might even have some Conservative readers.
you are too much into logic Neale.
life is far beyond any logic.
about who we are, i would say, we are the highest form of consciousness on earth.
of course on another level we are no body as the earth itself is no body.
but you Neale know this of course...
you know Neale, Linda is right here.
all this is much to much about what YOU Neale think.
isn't it about time for Neale to disappear?
I don't think Neale meant for all of us to agree, it is simply a sort of speech. I think Linda feels manipulated, it is coming from the way she perceives it. I don't perceive it that way. I read the message and got the substance of it. Then I got my own conclusions which are very similar to his. I might not agree on everything, but I would only feel manipulated when I decide I was manipulated, not necessarily that I had been. Remember we are bound to makes mistakes. Nobody if perfect.
Love and Peace Always
Hello Neale and thank you for your words of wisdom. it is not easy to believe that what little one has is of any use to another. Due mainly because of the frustration felt when I received "half answers" I put myself in the shoes of the person asking and feel they too would be frustrated with my inability to give more.
You say I am to look and study into my questions. The biggest of all questions is why? Everyone who knows me knows this is the first question on my lips. It is everything I am and how I think. Reading throught your book What God wants,it makes total sense. yet also it sounds too simple! The answers are profoundly difficult and prove impossible to change without some radical "Event" happening to make people see on a first-hand level that this system of mankind's misguided attempt at ruling itself cannot continue for much longer. Within that answer lies the thought that God will have to step in to put right the wrongs. This thought of a God who will destroy this system as it stands is, to most thinking people an abhorent one. Where does one draw the line between good and evil? Yet what is one to do? Do we continue to allow those who choose greed, fear, tyranny etc to continue without prevention until there is nothing left? Until anarchy, and destruction is the only way of life? Because this is how I see it going, how it already is! Yet too, this thought is so difficult to hold. evil holds sway, so how does one set about changing this? when-ever mankind is backed into a corner his first thought is I. Not WE, but I! To change this behaviour there has to be some radical and huge change..... to bring people up short. to show them the results and understand their actions.
Obviously a fear of God is not working. That is plain to see. Belief systems, as you so rightly say, just continue to separate. So how does one change this deeply ingrained belief system?
I'm sure like me you've spoken to many, and seen the wall slam down behind their eyes, seen them glaze over? How do you get through to a deadened mind? How do you change things when they choose not to listen?
Returning to my thought earlier whete I mentioned the thought of considering a God who destroys, goes contrary to the resonance within. Such is my quandary. Because I can't accept that mankind has to be destroyed to remove wickedness, but at the same time I know Something has to happen to remove the wickedness of mankind. Something has to stop the outrage of mankind's atrocities shown to fellow man and animals on this planet. Is it purely a change of thinking?
I don't consider it possible for man to do so. How do you bring about changes in those whose minds are closed and focused only on what they have been taught to believe, generations of belief systems. How do you turn them over? How also do you hope to change the thoughts of those surviving and bringing money to the table? How to change those whose way of life is so ingrained in that attainment of riches and security. How does one change them? How do you change their way of dealing with their fellowman and their dealings with nature? Impossible I say! Because greed outways their need to change. So the one question that comes loud and clear from your book What God Wants, is, HOW?
HOW do we turn mankind's inherent greed, evilness and fear around.
HOW do we show them violence, fear and greed is not the answer. HOW can we show them wisdom and explain a different way to them when they choose not to listen?
Their actions will continue to have an effect of our lives. no matter how "Good" we choose to become, no matter how much we consider ourselves to be "Part" of God, we cannot stop them from destroying everything around them. Greed, fear, ignorance, stupidity and a total refusal to see there are problems in this world are the leaders of today and those in power use this and always will. So, do we, who choose goodness have to live under their tyranny until pain and suffering kill us? To die being the only way to remove ourselves from this plane of existance, because in my lack of understanding on how you consider we are going to change this deeply ingrained pattern of mankind, I really find it hard to believe how it is you can see how it will change! Not everyone has a spiritual belief or need. Many do not even see a need to answer to a greater good, being only concerned with the "I" and what it can get out of others. I look forward to your answer.xx Jeannette
