Beginning this Sunday, and for the next 20 weeks, we're going to take quite an excursion in this blogspace. Get ready for quite a ride. We're going to be talking about things that you haven't talked about since Sunday School. Here, it'll be Sunday School All Week, for 20 straight weeks.
Our Sunday School All Week will close on Sunday, December 21st -- appropriately, just before Christmas. Classes begin this Sunday. Here is the curriculum:
1. What is life?
2. Is there a God?
3. Who or what is God?
4. Why is God?
5. What is God's purpose?
6. What is God's function?
7. Who or what are you?
8. Why are you?
9. Where are you?
10. When are you?
11. What is your purpose?
12. What is your function?
13. Is there an 'Afterlife'?
14. Is there a Heaven?
15. Is there a Hell?
16. What is 'Salvation", and what is the Road to Salvation?
17. Who was Buddha? Who was Jesus? Who was Muhammad?
18. What is Enlightenment; is it possible?
19. Why bother with any of this?
20. How, then, to best live your life?
Each Sunday we will consider the topic, receive a lecture on the subject, and be given an assignment. Monday through Thursday we will entertain questions and discussion from the class. Friday your assignment will be due. On Saturday, you'll receive your grade for the week. On December 21, you'll receive your Final Grade.
Any questions?
Good. Now quiet down class. This is only a preview today. We begin our preview discussion with this comment from Jeannie. The convention here will be that all class comments will be presented in bold. Responses from the teacher will appear in italics. Basic instructions and lecture material will be published in regular typeface such as this.
Jeannie? Please go ahead.
I have just read "What God Wants" (at least three times) and am in a state of pure joy. I have always believed in my deepest soul everything you so eloquently scripted......my question is how to get this message to those who need it most??? Those who hate for no reason, kill in "THE NAME OF GOD", and make judgments against those whom one has never known.
I teach at-risk youth....they are so lost and afraid. I have always tried to instill in them the truth that all of us have the Light of God within, it is just a matter of finding it. I try so hard to look into their eyes and see their souls -- some of them have murdered, raped and who knows what.....but they are still so young and confused that I just know that the Lord is waiting for them to see the truth.
I am so hoping that your book will help me in my daily life....I want to be the example to them that they need, so that all their anger and hurt can disappear. Can you help?????
Jeannie Biscotti
My dear Jeannie...Yes, I can help. The thing you may want to do is join the Messenger Circle at www.nealedonaldwalsch.com. This is a community of spiritual helpers, now over 1,000 strong, who have created a virtual community on the Internet for the purpose of continuing exploration of ways to move this message forward into the world, for offering support to each other in doing so, and for helping others in the instant moment through the Life Support Center.
You may wish to send others -- anyone you know -- to the Life Support Center to receive input from Messengers such as yourself there. You may also wish to show up in the Life Support Center on a regular basis, offering your own insights and assistance to those in need of spiritual sustenance and support.
Also in the Messenger's Circle you will have a chance to interact with others, and with me, daily.
You may take advantage of the Ask Neale section there as well, where I can answer your questions on the CWG material -- or the questions of anyone you send there.
There you may also wish to open the CWG Weekly Reader -- an extension of the CWG material offering weekly guidance in how to apply its messages as a practical matter in your life.
Additionally, Jeannie, you may wish to joing the Reverse Book-Of-The-Month Club. You may do this right now, today. What the club invites you to do is not receive a book every month, but just the reverse: to give one away.
Decide that every month from now on you are going to make sure that a copy of What God Wants falls into the hands of someone else. You may wish to simply place one on the reading table at the hair styling salon. Or "forget" to take your copy off the subway seat. Or "accidentally" leave one at the dentist's office. Carry a copy (they are small) wherever you go, and simply drop them around. Or, purposefully give one away to a person you know (or even someone you don't know) who looks like they could use a lift!
Become a Messenger of the New Spirituality.
Take a 3-day Deep Study CWG course (they are offered twice a year by the Conversations with God Foundation - www.cwg.org), or sign up for a 5-Day Intensive, such as the ReCreating Yourself Spiritual Renewal Retreat being offered this Christmas time (and every year during the week between Christmas and New Year's). I personally facilitate this retreat, and people come from all over the world to attend it. It is extremely reasonably priced, and you can get more information about it by going to www.cwg.org and simply clicking on Retreats.
You may also want to go to www.nealedonaldwalsch.com and look up the schedule of my appearances around the country and across the globe. I could be offering a 1-day Happier Than God program right in your neighborhood.
AND, finally, if you liked reading What God Wants, give yourself permission to read the "toolbox book" for the CWG series, the recently (March) released book Happier Than God, which explains in very accessible and exciting terms how to take the messages of all of the Conversations with Godbooks and apply them in your daily life. You can then pass this information on to others.
Yes, there is much you can do, Jeannie. A great deal you can do! And thanks for asking!
See you all here Sunday for the opening of class, on Topic #1.

Dear Mr. Walsch,
I'm a Chinese who live in Hong Kong, I just saw the film "Conversations with God". I think there is something I can't catch. May be my English is not very well, so I don't really understand. But I'll try my best. Also, I just started to read your book "Conversations with God", too. But I think I should take a long time, it's because I bought an English Version.
Anyway, thanks your film and books. I'll try my best to think about the answer of "What would "Love" do, now?".
wonderful , with ,love and peace , christina , scotland
Neale,
I am not quite understanding how it is that a person would create being abused, or raped, etc....and, in the case that they did, are they actually supposed to be expected to just rise above it somehow because they need to take responsiblity for ultimately creating these things in their life??? If we are supposed to speak our truth, we must be able to be validated within the context of our individual experiences...right?
And also, how can someone be expected to create positivity, so easily, when we all have these human brains, and human emotions, that can render us immobile at times???
Regan,
One can create positivity through awareness. Become aware of the 'human brain and human emotions' as you say. Notice them. Become aware that their focus is on separation. Do this all day long. We are one; Our true essence, each and all of us, is pure love and pure light -- anything other than that is ego/pain that knows nothing but the illusion of separation. It can take time to break the habit of giving in to that illusion. Don't succumb to frustration. Thank the difficulties in life; think of them as sparring partners, helping you to advance your skill. :)
Regan, Taking responsibility for your life does not mean you have to condone the bad behavior of others. It is very hard to understand but all things that happen happened for a reason. Maybe the lesson is to learn forgiveness. By holding onto bad things that happen in live we give our power away to the negative. Try to focus on what you can learn rather then the event itself. No one here needs to be validated, the ego is what seeks validation.
Blessings,
Earth Angel
