My favorite planet is making news today. Venus, the planet of love, relationships and beauty, is going direct after a month and half in retrograde motion.
Matters of the heart have been complicated during this time — feelings were conflicted and nothing seemed to move forward. There was a lot of over-thinking and analyzing and churning and fretting. Do I really want to be with this person? Are they right for me? Do I deserve more?
I’m not speaking of myself, per se. This indecisiveness in love is universal when Venus is retrograde. But now that Venus is going direct, we’ll be able to see our relationships clearly for what they are so we can decide — finally — what to do.
At least I hope so. Limbo is lame. And don’t forget, Saturn (which was also retrograde from February 7 to June 25) went direct this week, too, and that planet is also a key decision maker.
With serious Saturn and loving Venus both moving direct now, I can’t help but think that we’re going to start taking our love lives more seriously — and if our partners won’t, we might just call it a day.
Of course, I also think of Venus as “The Planet of Hair,” so it’s likely we might also call the hairdresser and get a killer new ‘do. Some decisions are easy, right?
