My boyfriend made a kissy noise when he hung up the phone with me last night. Seriously. I was shocked — but in a pleasant way. He’s pretty reserved, and he’s certainly never done that before. It was, like, MWAH! Pretty darn cute. And right on cue, because the August Love Horoscopes are sweet as pie.
I’ve been waiting for August all year because I knew this is the month our love lives are going to get good. It really started when the Sun moved into loving Leo on July 22, but now it’s going to pick up even more.
Today, there’s a Full Moon in Aquarius that is great for socializing and stimulating conversation. I’m calling it the “Party Moon,” in fact (which I wrote about yesterday), and I just wish it fell on the weekend. But that’s ok, because there’s plenty MORE sweet stuff in store.
On August 7, love planet Venus moves into sentimental Cancer, which is all about cuddling up and nurturing your relationship. My boyfriend also has Venus in Cancer in his birth chart, so I’m curious to see if he gets extra mucky sweet like he did last night. I don’t mind that one bit!
On August 8, Mercury goes direct, which will help clear up confusions and misunderstandings, and should also help stalled relationships move forward.
Then, later in the month, there’s a New Moon in loving Leo on August 17 that’s entirely about love, pleasure and joy. I have a Leo Rising, so I’m pretty sure that time I’m going to be the one who gets extra mucky sweet. But that’s a good thing in my book.
