I pray to Kannon (Quan Yin) Bodhisattva for their healing, and to Jizo Bodhisattva to take pity on the soul of their child.

I don't pray but they will be heavy on my mind today. It sorta puts everything in perspective when what I thought was a pressure day is nothing compared to what they're going through. When this is over and everything's well Mother's Day will be even more special for them. Every year about this time they'll look at their child and be even more appreciative of the moment.
It sounds like she has a good pulmonary specialist and internal medicine specialist. Does anyone know how far along Heather is in her pregnancy? I'll continue to pray that her doctors and nurses give her the best medical care & that she and her family receive all of the support that they need. Of course, I'll pray that she delivers a healthy infant and give thanks that the embolism wasn't fatal. I'll pray for Heather to remain strong and patient through this.

There's some better news now.

Dale put up the first sonogram just a couple of days before this happened. Baby is seven weeks old.
