Sen. Christopher Dodd, a Democratic candidate for president of a nation that faces serious crises in Iraq, Afghanistan, economically (re: the deficit and entitlements), immigration ... is on TV now being interviewed by Wolf Blitzer about Don Imus's big mouth.

What next? "Sen. Dodd, did you ever fear that you might be the father of Anna Nicole's baby?"

But you missed the mark by quoting Bill Donohue, who in many ways is the conservative Catholic Sharpton. A little late getting your Susie S. talking points from the fax, Hugo?

I never heard of Don Imus before all this blew up, and my life was not stunted thereby. Anyone who is so deficient in brain cells or common decency or whatever as to call any woman a "ho" (or any variant) in public should clearly be taken OFF the public stage forthwith.
I never heard of Bill Donohue either before I met this blog, but no one has accused him here of calling anyone a "ho," and I can't imagine Rod doing that either. What happened to good manners?

"Postman has been saying stuff like that for years." I believe he died many years ago.

Seriously. It's not even a slow news day. We in the military find it particularly ridiculous that all Americans care about is Anna Nicole's Baby's Daddy.
15 month tour... can't hardly wait.

I intended to type, "Neil Postman said ..." up there. Yes, he died on October 5, 2003.
