Friday September 21, 2007

Categories: Varia

What is this, cancer day around here? Just found out, via her blog, that my friend Virginia Postrel has breast cancer. Frankly, if I were cancer, I'd be scared of Virginia Postrel. She's cooler and smarter than just about anybody, and she's going to kick it's a*s. Just so you know. But you, reader, could help by adding some prayers and good wishes. God knows she's built up some medical karma points lately.

And I curse the fates! Anyone who saw this woman on C-Span with Sally Satel after the transplant will have no doubt about the caliber of human being we have before us.

She is simply on another level!
