"Demographic Winter" -- the movie

Categories: Decline and fall

This got my attention. Have patience with the website -- it's very well done, but also a bit unwieldy. Watch the trailer.

pb:

You unintentionally made my point. IMHO is more of a joke than reality, given my, um, never lacking of an opinion.

One would think everyone else would get the joke, too, but I guess not.

On the other hand, if I was seeking to win a Bnet popularity contest, it certainly wouldn't be by hanging around on THIS blog.

On the other hand, Larry IS entertaining, but my obvious sarcasm must not've translated well.

On the current topic, Spengler has been screaming this stuff from the metaphorical rooftops for some time now. I'm not sure what to expect, but at 42, and God willing, there could be some massive changes before my age cohort all check out.

I worry for my kids.....

Looks interesting, thanks for the link Rod!!! Part of me believes this trend is irreversible for large sections of the West....women's careers won't much matter at that point now will they?

"Oh, those wacky Mormons, making their movies."

When did Professors Gary Becker and Nicholas Eberstadt join the LDS Church? Or, for that matter, Don Feder?

This makes as much sense as the story of those black helicopters....
