He hates me, he really hates me!

Wednesday April 16, 2008

Categories: Conservatism

Oh joy beyond all telling! My demented nemesis Roy Edroso has named this here blog in his smart-ass Village Voice Election-Year Guide to the Right-Wing Blogsphere.

To be hated by the Village Voice is surely a mark of distinction. Shouldn't a pundit make the right enemies? According to Frater Roy, I am 50 percent evil, and 50 percent stupid (versus, for example, Jonah Goldberg, whose stupid/evil ratio is 90/10). Is it better to be stupid or evil? Anyway, I'm grateful for the exposure, and more blog hits, which means money in my pocket. Thanks, Roy, you old crazypants!

UPDATE: Like the Tom Tomorrow illo, especially the worry lines, but I haven't had that kind of beard for two or three years. Anyway, I'm a Tom Tomorrow fan, so this is nice. As long as they spell my name right, I ain't complaining.

There's no such thing as bad publicity. Damn shame though that you're getting publicity among and between ads for methadone and tranny hookers.

Rod, your headline on this thread HAS to be wrong! Liberals and progressives don't "hate!" They are always tolerant and accepting of diversity, remember? It is the conservatives that are the haters!
