Is Obama the Antichrist?

Thursday May 22, 2008

Of course not. But this is the kind of garbage being passed around. It just flopped over my e-mail transom: According to The Book of Revelations the anti-Christ is: The anti-Christ will be a man, in his 40s, of MUSLIM...

Good for you Rod!

It would indeed be a neat trick for Revelation to mention Muslims, given that Islam was founded several hundred years after it was written.

It's important to stay grounded in reality. This email clearly isn't. I would do (and have done) exactly what Rod did. What is fair is to pass along to social conservatives that in spite of the God talk that Obama engages in, he has the strongest pro-abortion record of any candidate we have seen for president. That's reality, this anti-Christ business isn't.

OTOH, Obama himself has until caught, kept his mouth shut around nonsense such as the idea that the US government created AIDS to kill black people. He didn't respond like Rod did to such evil, foolishness until he got the idea that it would hurt him politically.

I wouldn't quite equate those two stories. The one about McCain was a rumor based on reality--the actual child he adopted. Everyone knows men who have had illegitimate children, so that's the kind of rumor that ordinary people might have believed if they heard it enough times.

The one about Obama being the anti-Christ is so much more frivolous, and more insulting to Muslims than to Obama. I remember the one about Ronald Wilson Reagan = 6 6 6 = anti-Christ. That was too silly to take seriously too.

Good for you Rod, I find myself (Registered Republican/Crunchy Con/Not voting for Obama) defending him against my Neocon friends. It's amazing to believe that many believe him to be a Muslim even after the big hoopla with his Pastor. As an American, I think that Americans are some of the dumbest and gullible people on Earth.

Very good, Rod! It would be nice if your friend sent it to you because he thought it was a joke and thought that you'd get a kick out of it and not because he thought that it was possible.

I got on an email list of a crackpot once. Actually, the person wasn't a crackpot, but she would receive emails from people who were out there in goofy land, and then forward them to me. It was really an eye opener because I thought that she was a pretty clear thinker, and I came to realize that wasn't the case when I discovered the types of things that she was willing to accept. I wish that I could remember this one more clearly. It had to do with Revelation, Iraq, and end times. The email sited a passage from the Koran that could be interpreted to predict the US entry into Iraq and a Christian-Muslim fight to follow. I own a Koran and looked up the passage. The real passage in the Koran was totally different than the one being circulated.

I have a dyed-in-the-wool Republican in-law who lives and breathes by these types of idiotic emails. He forwards them, he uses them as "proof" in his arguments, blogs them like they're factual news. . . Its pretty pathetic. One he was pretty fired-up over recently was the "Obama-refuses-to-salute-the-flag!!1!" email. I have yet to see the Anti-Christ email make an appearance in any of his screeds, but I'm sure it will soon (even though said in-law practices no religion at all, nevermind being a believer in "Revelations" -heh- he'll use anything anti-Democratic as fodder for his spewings).

What's worse: no matter what facts you might present in answer to this type of nonsense, the types of folks who buy into these scare-stories will not face the facts, will not believe them. They'd rather believe the garbage, since it goes along with everything they already believe about the Left. This type of person is exactly the type who needs to hear the warning in one of your earlier posts from today, Rod: stop watching Fox, stop listening to right-wing radio, you've been fed so much propaganda, so many scare-stories, so much demonization of every person on the left that you can no longer recognize real factual information. It has become easier for these people to believe the most outlandish stuff possible ("Barak HUSSEIN Obama is the Anti-Christ and will convert us all to Islam at sword-point!!!!) than just plain truth.

I pretty much burned my bridges by calling my in-law an idiot racist (this after he made some crass remarks about immigrants, knowing full well that uhm, my entire family are immigrants). For everyone else who isn't willing to permanently fracture their relationships with these moonbats, just refer them straight to Snopes.com when they forward you this crap. :)

I'm reading Revelation right now, and no, it does not appear there there is any sign of Obama in it. Seriously.

Not even sure where they get this whole "the anti-Christ will be of Muslim decent" idea from. I've heard the anti-Christ is supposed to be Russian/Muslim/Romanian/Italian/Christian/American over the years . . . I'm starting to think that they are pulling this out of thin air.

Eleazer Williams,

The proper reaction to slurs and smears is not to hush it up and pretend it is not happening, but rather to call it out for the witless, vile trash-talking that it is. Nothing is gained by letting this nonsense go unchallenged, even by those of us who are not voting for Obama this November.

Given that the Revelation was written hundreds of years before Muhammad was born and Islam came to exist, it's not surprising to not find it. Frankly, if Revelation mentioned Muslims, it would be a wonderful argument in favor of the accuracy of prophecy.

Yeah, I've had to rebut the Obamuslim crappola myself. ThoughAnd this coming from people who would have chewed their hands off at the wrist before pulling the lever for Bush 43.

Though the anti-Christ is a new twist, I'll say that.

I mean, really--how could anyone that dreamy be the anti-Christ?

Totally off topic, but I love the phrase "flopped over my e-mail transom." Sadly, the history of journalism indicates that even in the days of actual transoms and actual flopping, crackpot theories written by otherwise respectable citizens comprised a decent percentage of a journalist's daily mail.

Anne at 3:43 PM said: "Rod: stop watching Fox, stop listening to right-wing radio, you've been fed so much propaganda, so many scare-stories, so much demonization of every person on the left that you can no longer recognize real factual information."

A person who says this sort of thing does not watch FoxNews, does not listen to Limbaugh, Prager, Hewitt, Ingraham or other conservative commentators but just repeats what is "common knowledge" on the left. Rod is a clear-thinking civil person whom we may not always agree with all the time, but there is no doubt that he recognizes facts.

Idiotic emails can be deleted, the writer referred back to snopes.com, or kindly corrected. Or the sender can be asked to take you off his distribution list because "you are too busy", as a last resort, blocked. He may be wrong, or silly or deluded, but not "evil" as "liberals" tend to think.

This confirms something that I have long suspected, that many people who like to wave the Bible around haven't actually read it.

I've heard the anti-Christ is supposed to be Russian/Muslim/Romanian/Italian/Christian/American over the years . . . I'm starting to think that they are pulling this out of thin air.

The speculation I've come across most recently (a few years ago, now) is that the Antichrist is a Jew born in America in the second half of the 20th century. That's awfully specific! Sheesh.

***

I've found that, in general, a good way to get off the e-mail forwarding list of people who pass along rumors is to take a couple of minutes to check the story on snopes.com, then send a "reply to all" indicating that the story has been debunked, and including the link to the snopes.com page that discusses it. After I did that a couple of times, I found that, strangely, I stopped getting messages from these people!

David,

Growing up in a fundamentalist Baptist church in the 70s, we all knew that the anti-christ was going to be Jewish (and probably Russian). At the same time, our church was extremely pro-Israel. One of the more popular candidates, as I recall (though I was in elementary school at the time), was Henry Kissinger. Who, if you ask me, is the guy central casting would choose for the role...

I just finished reading the Book of Revelation for my EFM (Education for Ministry) course. The anti-christ isn't mentioned once. The anti-christ shows up in earlier books of the New Testament, but it doesn't appear to refer to a specific person, rather to refer to an attitude that is "contra-Christ."

This, in my mind, is the natural extension of the smear tactics which have been used effectively, mostly by Republicans, to win elections. Swift boats, the McCain smear, Willie Horton. The Dems arent above this by any means, just not very good t it.

The Wright and Ayers things are just a continuation of this tactic for the most part. It has been used so much it is now considered normal. I will continue to advocate evaluating policies and political alliances as the best tests of presidential fitness and character. An analysis of how they have made their money and how they spend it, where they live and past jobs/political experience would be on the table too, of course.

Anglican Peggy
May 22, 2008 5:07 PM

Wait a minute though Rod. I have been thinking alot about the end times lately (who isn't if they believe) and the thought that Obama could be the anti-Christ has crossed my mind. While the actual email in question is incorrect in a lot of respects as you have already pointed out, I actually don't think the idea is far-fetched.

Maybe its because of an idea that I have had for a long time regarding well-intentioned evil. Ages ago I even toyed around with writing a novel in which the anti-Christ didnt know who he was and had the best intentions and yet ended up bringing death and destruction as opposed to life.

For me that is at bottom what the anti-Christ is beyond any particular details as to his identity. He brings death. Christ brings life. If the anti-Christ is going to bring big death, he would have to ascend to great power. There is no greater power in the world than the US President. There is no nation more at the center of everything than our country. As the saying goes "When the US catches a cold, the rest of the world gets flu" So it would make sense to say that the anti-Christ might be a US President with a messianic ability to sweep people off their feet. He would be a figure held in a religious awe. Have you seen the photo of the 75000 strong crowd Obama drew the other day? That is what it would look like at first.

Can Satan fool even the well-intentioned? He does so everyday. Can someone who starts out with hope and promise be seduced over to the Dark Side? You betcha. In fact, I have another theory which holds that it is the most idealistic people who are actually the most prone to do so. The world inevitable disappoints and embitters. The most idealistic person is the most unlikely to find fault with their world view. Instead they turn to force to ram their vision through trusting that once people see how much better things are they will stop resisting and come around.

While I think it is irresponsible to openly identify a particular person as the Anti-Christ, given that its been done thousands of times and the identification has always been wrong (see the whole history of end-times movements for all the proof we will ever need that human beings are incapable of such an indentification no matter how much they think they know about the Bible.), still I think its actually a good thing to think about and talk about in general. Think of it as practice for identifying general evil both in ourselves and in others rather than an excercise in picking out the AC in particular.

I do believe that the AC is going to be a real person, but I don't think that anyone will know him until it is obvious. I take the counsel of Jesus not to (of course I'm paraphrasing here) sweat the details of the end-times but to simple always be ready for them. I think that being ever mindful of and alert to evil and its ways is the only way to prepare for whatever will come. Other than that, live your life as if today is your last day reminding ourselves always of what Jesus expects of us.

Having said all of that, I do have a personal opinion of who the Anti-Christ is or rather was. I won't bore with the details. Lets just say that my view is imaginative and complicated. But I believe that the AC was alive a long time ago and is now dead. But his effect on the world and the movement he left behind is only beginning to seriously attain to world dominance. The only hint that I will give is that this movement was founded on a specific denial of Christ as he is known and taught by the Church and I think this movement is uniquely appealing to those most infected by the particular spiritual and philosophical disease of our times. Some of the smartest and most idealistic are drawn to it even now. As things go from bad to worse, the Church will be ever more blamed for the dead end of Western culture. Then the average masses will quickly be drawn to the strong horse left standing. My personal opinion? Do not underestimate the likelihood of this scenario.

Anglican Peggy
May 22, 2008 5:19 PM

PS. I neglected to say what I think of personal opinions like my own. They are to be considered but not believed. I don't believe in any of my personal opinions. But I will consider them, test them, keep them in mind as good mental exercise, as good preparation for the real thing when it comes along.

Well, as the Official Agent of the Antichrist (I was once called that by a televangelist and I've had fun with it ever since.) Alicia
May 22, 2008 5:39 PM

It's like "Play It Again, Sam." It was never said by any character in "Casablanca" but it sticks firmly in people's memories as having happened. I believe it is 1 Peter in the NT who refers to antichrists (lower case and plural). The antichrists were people with attitudes that were "counter-Christ." Revelation never mentions antichrists. Revelation describes several beasts, but never refers to a single one as the "Antichrist."

Anything else is a modern gloss on the text - a wretched innovation and interpretation by people who actually have the nerve to consider themselves fundamentalists and literalists.

Have a great holiday weekend, everyone.

Anne
May 22, 2008 5:50 PM

Err... Another Ann: If you read carefully, I was paraphrasing Rod's warning to conservatives from earlier today, not warning Rod himself. Here's his words:

Stop watching so much Fox. Stop listening to so much talk radio. It may not tell you what you need to know! Seriously, many rank-and-file Republicans have spent so much time listening to propagandists tell them what they want to hear -- including that liberals are always and everywhere wrong, and generally evil too -- that they are paralyzed when confronted with evidence that the world isn't like they thought.

From the "Death of Conservatism Gorefest" thread. I disagree with Rod most of the time, but no, I definitely don't think he's the type of conservative to put stock in stories like this!

Anyway I thought his "warning" was quite apropos to the discussion at hand. In my experience, this is exactly the kind of person who circulates these types of emails. Conservatives who've heard so many scare-stories and so much venom from the right-wing propagandists that they just eat up this type of story. They WANT to believe it. Whether its Obama as anti-Christ, Obama as secret Muslim, Obama as America-hated (omg he doesn't wear a flag lapel-pin!), whatever. They swallow it, and no amount of facts you present them will change their minds.

I mean, when you've decided that you won't even listen to the man just because his middle name is HUSSEIN (as someone told me they've decided, recently). . . there's just no reasoning with them, at least in my experience.

May 22, 2008 6:31 PM

Is this really that much different than people who think that 9/11 was an inside job? I realize that with "antichrist" there's a religious element, but still. People can always be foolishly gullible, especially if it helps demonize an opponent.

I once was having lunch with a good friend, who was several years older. I always respected his intelligence. Then he started telling me of things he heard that were plausible about explosives being used on 9/11, because the impact of the planes and the burning jet fuel would not have been enough to bring the towers down. I asked him incredulously, "You mean you think that people somehow smuggled in explosives, and they went off at precisely the same time as the planes hit, in the same part of the towers where the planes hit, and that's what brought the towers down?" He responded, "Well, that's what so-and-so thinks."

He was hiding behind someone else, but I could tell he gave the argument credit. And for what it's worth, he was a liberal Democrat. So this sort of thing is not limited to only Republicans.

Very interesting topic, the Antichrist, however there is no way that a person as Obama can be classified to be that person, history has been trying to classified many as that person and time after time it end up to be wrong. The book of revelation, accordingly discribed the antichrist as a person with great intelligent, great mystery and possess great awe and work wonder, never had the bible mention any citizen of a nation the antichrist would be born off, Obama is just another fellow trying to be elected, I am not an American, it is very silly to even class him in that term.

The antichrist will be million time more populate than Obama, the antichrist will be able to attracted world wide attention, fellower by the billion, sorry, Obama is just not in his class. However Obama may be one of the antichrist forerunner, that will be a possibilities. The antichrist will need many to prepare his coming, many powerful goverment and leader of the world, is the time right? for the coming of the Antichrist. Only God have all the answer, you american out there, USA is just a piece of land on the map of the world, learn from history, Roman was a great nation once, now it lay as ruin for many to see, so is the Antichrist, a black, a yellow or a white?

There were many convinced Ronald Wilson Reagan was the anti-christ because each of his given names had six characters in it. And people really believed it!
How ironic then that he was the one, along with Pope John Paul 2 (also often accused of being the antichrist)who destroyed communism. And what is more anti-christian then God-less communism ideology?
And it's not over yet....

No one knows who the Anti-Christ will be, but the only facts we know is that he will be this public figure of great appeal.

I think the reason why the Obama rumor came about is because many people flock to him (Example: the rally).

There are other rumors that the Anti-Christ will be someone from the European Union, who will form a one world order.

The best thing to do is pray and keep eyes on God to overcome whatever the future holds. The anti-christ could be among us right now, or he could show up later. The important thing is to keep watch agains deceit of the anti-christ, and to be strong in one's faith in God.

Uhhh, what little we know about AC, he's gotta be initiated in Egypt by a priest of Satan (well that hasn't happened).
He (the AC) has to be of part Jewish heritage. Doesn't seem like Obama fits that bill either. (And Obama ain't of Muslim descent. Anybody remember the Rev. Wright-a Christian Church-controversy"? His mom was a Kansan Christian, as far as one can tell. He went to Catholic school.

And he (the AC) must reign over the "nations with 10 horns" (paraphrasing) uhhh, call that the European Union--no American will ever reign over it).

Nope, doesn't seem like Sen. Obama fits the bill, nor can he.
Further he isn't even on the Bildebergers, Council of Foreign Relations, Bohemian Grove lists (as far as one can tell).
Excuse the arthritic typing.

Pax Christi, all

Barack Hussein Obama isn't THE anti-Christ. However, some of his voting records are definitely anti-Christian. He once voted that it was okay for the baby to die, in a partial birth abortion vote, if by chance the baby was born entirely. You have to be very evil to allow a little baby to die if it's once born. VERY EVIL. VERY ANTI-CHRISTIAN.

There is very little we must be concerned about. The one important thing we must do is always do God's will. If we all only desired to do God's will, the world would be a wonderful loving place. I do know that God's will is not for 4000 babies being murdered a day in the US. God does not think a baby is a "mistake" or "punishment" which is what Obama said - he doesn't want his daughter punished by a baby if she makes a mistake. God knew us before we were in our mother's womb. God does not want infanticide which is what Obama supported by going agaisnt the "Born Alive Act". And God certainly doesn't want a baby partially delivered and then a knife inserted into the baby's skull and the brains sucked out as Obama supports with Partial Birth Abortion. We don't have to consider anything about Obama other than he goes against the Commandments given to us by God and the one given to us by Jesus - love our neighbor. We can't love them when we think it okay to kill a child of God. You either live in God or you are of the world. Obama is of the world and not of God as he does not follow God's laws. That is enough info for me.

U.N. Sec. General Kofi A. Annan fits the position more than Obama.
His name also calculates to 666.

Rod, you don't need to ask liberals not to pass around anti-McCain emails around because we tend not to do these things. I get a lot of chain emails, and they virtually all conservative. Inflammatory, false chain emails seem to be unique to the right-wing.

It is too bad that we are sent these types of e-mails about a candidate rather than those that would help to inform the public about a candidate such as the reality of Obama's horrifying pro-choice record that is factual. He would rather allow a baby that survived the abortion to die alone in a pail (a nurse named Jill Stanek brought this in front of Congress) rather than trying to save it. But a child who was born fighting for it's life too would be given every available assistance to live. My granddaughter was born at 1 lb 8 oz, 3 months premature, she is a beautiful 9 year old. I can't imagine that other baby just struggling to live but dying in a pail!!! But Obama was absent at the time of legislation so in essence he knew this meant a no vote to stop this atrocity.
People need to know these things about their candidates not this other frivolous dribble.

Barak Obama being the anti-Christ? The way many are gushing over him as a secular messiah and political savior makes one pause.
Could the Biblical scriptures being fulfilled before our eyes in our own time? Why not? Scripture does sstate that the anti-Christ will come some day and deceive--if possible "even the elect."

What might such a person be like, who is to persuade the multitudes, and then rise to power?

The mistake is to assume that the anti-Christ will be an obvious figure such as the likes of Hitler or a Stalin. But such evil people have littered the stage of history for centuries.
The anti-Christ will come as a figure of peace offering false solutions to the problems of the world. Bishop Sheen once said that the anti-Christ is the anti-cross: a Christianity stripped from the cross, stripped from the person of Christ, stripped from the supernatural. In other words, we are our own saviors, and we must save the world through ur own means; never mind God.

Some theologians have speculated that the anti-Christ will not know that he's the anti-Christ. This person will merely be the product of a rotting society, which once knew and believed in Christ.
The anti-Christ will not be the devil himself. The anti-Christ will be a man who's been deceived by the devil. This man will be someone who will come speaking about peace, but in the end will misguide the society further down the path of self-destruction.

Personally, I believe the stage is set for such a personage. It's quite clear that what we see in today's society are many good people who have rationalized the irrational. They allow themselves to be numbed into accepting lies and half-truths.

Such individuals have been assimilated into a global force which is shaping society into an indifferent, selfish and Godless culture, dependent upon a system of governance which offers empty solutions. One example is the issue of abortion: Some individuals have been persuaded to believe that we have a right to dismember human babies.
Our great-grandparents would have wept in disgust. Yet that's exactly what the likes of Obama "defend".

Just watch this video about the mad world of Obama: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0HRFqmlZEbY

Therefore, could Obama be the anti-Christ? Who knows. After all, THE Christ, was a humble carpenter from Nazareth, while everyone expected a powerful military superhero. What we do know is that Barak Obama stands for the most radical brand of liberal politics. Unfortunately, today that means promoting evil as good:

With abortion we have the destruction of human life attacking the will of the Holy Spirit who is the Lord and Giver of Life. The Left not only supports but promotes Gay marriage. Elevating homosexual marriage to the same level as the institution of holy matrimony is a direct assault on the nucleus of society--namely the paradigm of the human family made in the image and likeness of God. Gay marriage attacks the Male-Female, Man-Woman, Husband-Wife, Father-Mother paradigm and the masculine-feminine influence God intended for children.
Never mind the fact that the vast majority of people in prison today come from broke families and lacking a positive father figure, I cringe to think about the psychological wrecks same-sex unions will spawn into society.

Behind all of this evil is the miserable reality of demonic influence, which is active before our very eyes, and many choose to be their puppets. Therefore, be ye not deceived.

Good Job, Rod! Thank you for helping people see that this kind of irrational name calling helps none of us as Americans.
God Bless. This weekend lets focus instead on honoring our troops, past and present, who have put themselves in harms way for their country. Lynn S.

This kind of crap is what is turning the once great country of desire and freedom into a cesepool of followers on crime filled drug filled streets and not leaders.
Each person who reads this must also reach out to others to pass on the need to stop garbage like this from poisoning the minds of those who can be swayed.
God must bless America before it is to late to be any other thing than a country full of memories of those who died and who survived all kind of world wars.... to gain freedom for those less fortunate.

Jesus was humble and meek of heart. Obama seems prideful and arrogant.
Obama is coming riding an donkey, so to speak, which is the mascot of the democrat party. Some people refer to that party as the demoncrat party now; considering the evil it advocates. I think people highly underestimate the times in which we live. He could very well be the final antichrist. I can't stand to look at or listen to him and I am not the least bit racist. My spirit recoils at the sight of him.
You'll know them by their fruits and his are abortion, letting babies die if they survivive one, homosexual marriage, and experimentation on human beings (embryo destruction/cloning). This is nothing less than a satanic agenda people.

Your article was well taken given the dark place from which it must have originated. How can people that are Americans and Christians lower themselves to such a level? Several of your commenters should spend a bit more time reading the US Constitution and a bit less time literally interpreting their bibles. I am truly discgusted.

Is the Beast ascending to power on the world stage today?
In these days many are asking, what does the Bible say about the Antichrist, the Man of Lawlessness, and the Beast. Should we be concerned about any individual currently ascending to power on the world stage? Although my book Final Warning goes into much greater detail about the characteristics of the evil one, let it suffice that all Christians must be aware that one is coming who is beginning to fit this profile.
Beware of the one who comes as a type of messiah promising to save the world from its present crisis by speaking half truths and outrageous lies; one who promises world wide peace by sitting down with your enemies. Beware of the one, who promises universal health care for the whole person (both physical and psychological) with its hidden agenda of leading you to trust in psychology instead of trusting in God exclusively, which is idolatry. Furthermore, this allows the evil one and his established order to control your life. This control is precipitated by electronic record keeping and preventative health requirements that will mandate physical and psychological care if you wish to keep your benefits. Be wary of the one who voted for the bailout bill that gives government more involvement in the private sector and definitive control over millions of home loans. Tucked into this bill is a mental health provision that will ultimately give companies power over their employees by requiring that they get psychological counseling and drugs to improve their productivity. Be very careful of the one who promises to bring change to those living in the midst of fallen Babylon through his own strength and intellect.
Christian don't be deceived, because Obama easily fits this profile. He is espousing a political rebellion against the so called established order and leading God's children in open rebellion against Him. He does this by leading the world to put their trust in him or his new world religion to solve all their problems and meet their needs instead of trusting in God alone and His providential care. Obama openly nullifies the law of God by sanctioning same sex relationships and partial birth abortion – deserving the title “Man of Lawlessness.” Christian don’t be dismayed that the Republican party lost the election. Indeed it was easy to be fooled by the Republican Party and the audacity of talk radio claiming to be on the side of Christianity by rejecting homosexual unions and the freedom of choice. Clearly they only courted the Christian vote to further their own evil agenda of excessive greed and lust for power. Stop trusting in Obama or the Republican Party to bring about change. Real change is only possible through the transforming power of the Gospel which brings true healing to the whole man and his community.
If you have not done so already, let me encourage you to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Trust God to solve your problems and meet all of your needs. Then join me in spreading the word to flee Vanity Fair before it's too late. Reach out to your fellow Christian and tell them to stop trusting in Government and the one who has come to lead the world astray. Challenge them to repent of their wickedness and turn back to Jesus Christ as the true Author of change.

We live in desparate times. Our economy has collapsed, and the despotic New World Order folks / AKA Rockefeller / Rothschild sphere of influence must bilk the taxpayers of $800 billion every 4 months to prop-up the BROKEN SYSTEM of the Federal Reserve. Is Obama the Antichrist? I would say he is the figuirehead for the New World Order -- A wise man suggested that the NEW WORLD ORDER IS the Anti-Christ. They promise to help and fix things, but turn-around and DESTROY EVERYTHING.
