Well, well, well, now the Silky Pony admits he cheated on his wife, but denies that he's the father of the baby. Excerpt from ABC News, which got an interview with him:
Edwards said the affair began during the campaign after she was hired. Hunter traveled with Edwards around the country and to Africa.Edwards said his wife, Elizabeth, and others in his family became aware of the affair in 2006.
Edwards made a point of telling Woodruff that his wife's cancer was in remission when he began the affair with Hunter. Elizabeth Edwards has since been diagnosed with an incurable form of the disease.
When the National Enquirer first reported the alleged Edwards-Hunter affair last October 11, Edwards, his campaign staff and Hunter vociferously denounced the report.
"The story is false, it's completely untrue, it's ridiculous," Edwards told reporters then.
He repeated his denials just two weeks ago.
Edwards today admitted the National Enquirer was correct when it reported he had visited Hunter at the Beverly Hills Hilton last month.
The former Senator said his wife had not known about the meeting.
Got that, readers? The Enquirer was correct, the lying sleaze admits. And if he had broken the affair off, why was he meeting Rielle Hunter in the wee hours of the morning in a hotel, while his wife lay dying at home of incurable cancer?
Remember this interview from "60 Minutes" he did with Elizabeth? Here's what Silky Pony said then:
But, I think every single candidate for president, Republican and Democratic have lives, personal lives, that indicate something about what kind of human being they are. And I think it is a fair evaluation for America to engage in to look at what kind of human beings each of us are, and what kind of president we'd make.
What. A. Sleazbag.

But oh no, lets drag him through the mud. good GOP tactics!
The National Enquirer broke the story. Unless you can prove that the Enquirer is a wholly owned subsidiarity of Halliburton, Rove, Cheney, and Bush, LLC, then I think you should retract that accusation.

Just who do you think their sources are?
Rod, planning any tributes to Truman, whose wife had him wrapped around her little finger, or Carter, who at least only lusted in his heart (and that referring to what he called a "hoochee-coochee dancer" who came through Plains when he was 15)?
"Let's look at the bright side - Silky Pony is now qualified to be mayor of Los Angeles."
He's also qualified to run for the following:
GOP candidate for President (Reagan, Bush Sr., Dole, Bush Jr., and McCain have all had allegations of affairs from the Enquirer, and Reagan & McCain have admitted such)
GOP candidate for Speaker of the House (Gingrich & Livingston)
GOP candidate for US Senate (too numerous to mention)
GOP candidate for US House (too numerous to mention)
Candidate for ministry for most Baptist and Pentecostal congregations in the US.
Edwards messed up, made a complete fool of himself, and probably killed his political career. If he crawls off and never shows his face again in public he will be shown to be wiser than Reagan, McCain, Gingrich, and a host of other GOP adulterers who refused to go away after showing their true colors. If he tries to resurrect his career he will simply be following in their footsteps.
Hillary Clinton thinks that had the press reported the John Edwards matter earlier, she would have carried Iowa, making her the Democratic choice for 2008. Hillary also thinks that had the press declined to report the Monica Lewinsky matter, that that may have helped her chances as well. Adultery in Washington DC? Have you seen the prospects? Pencil pushers. Rove is hot in this berg. Monica was hot. Thanks to the Web however, we can all sort it out for ourselves: http://theseedsof9-11.com
