I was walking down the hall at the XCel Center a couple of hours ago, and who should I see on TV but Bill Kauffman, the front-porch radical himself, addressing the Ron Paul rally across the river. I caught the last 10 minutes of his speech, and from a traditionalist conservative pont of view, it was better than anything likely to be said here at the GOP Convention. He spoke with great passion about localism, and tradition, and against the war. C-SPAN2 broadcast it. If anybody can find a transcript or (even better) a link to video of the speech, put it in the comboxes and I'll move it up here to the main body.

Here's all 4 hours and 46 minutes, from the C-SPAN archive:

As for finding the Kauffman speech in there, good luck.
Don't worry, Rod. The entire Campaign for Liberty rally will likely be on Youtube in the not too distant future (say, 6 hours or so). In any case, it's being broadcast live over the internet on at least three different websites.
Bill Kaufmann comes on sometime around 2:04 in the video linked to by Scott Lahti.
Did you stay in front of the TV for John McManus, the Bircher who spoke to the Paul folks after Kaufmann? If so, what did he have to say?
