Here's SNL's take on the Biden-Palin debate. I swear, they should just give Tina Fey the Emmy right now. She's completely brilliant at this. Every time I see the Alaska governor on TV these days, I think she's Sarah Palin imitating Tina Fey doing Sarah Palin.

You're right on one SMALL point. When the B.O. campaign was confronted about these illegitimate campaign funds, they did return them. How could they not -- once the media and regulatory spotlight was trained on them?
But what about all the illegal campaign money they're taking in that regulators and the media haven't caught up with?
According to the same Newsweek article cited earlier: "This summer, watchdog groups asked both campaigns to share more information about its small donors. The McCain campaign agreed; the Obama campaign did not. 'They could've done themselves a service' by heeding the suggestions, said Massie Ritsch of the Center for Responsive Politics."
What are B.O. and his Chicago-machine campaign operatives hiding? Why not open their books to watchdog groups the way McCain's campaign has done with their books?
It was a good sketch and they did needle Biden too. One part had a "it's funny because it's true" feel. That being the "Can I call you Joe, cuz I practiced some zingers where I call you Joe." And I did like the "for those playing the drinking game at home, Maverick."
SNL should issue a dvd of just their political skits through the years. They might also add some of their faux tv newscasts as well that were about elections and candidates. I bet it would sell like hotcakes, especially in an election year.
I didn't find this offensive, as I did the previous ones, because Palin is in a stronger position.
Palin's got a lot of inner strength.
Tina Fey is brilliant. I say she is because I'm guessing she had a lot to do with the scripting of this sketch. I would also have to say her interpretation of Sarah Palin actuslly makes Ms. Palin visually palatable.
