The McCain volunteer who claims to have been attacked by a black man over her McCain sticker? I say it's b.s. -- and you know why? Because of the "B" carved into her face. It was backwards -- which is what you'd expect if she'd carved it into herself in front of a mirror. This is going to turn out to be like those black people who invent nooses and pretend to be victims of racial violence to get attention. And it's wicked.
UPDATE: Yep, she faked it.

I wonder what other appeals to white tribalism we will see in the next two weeks. Please make an example out of this girl.
Incidentally, all these people talking about a mirror are probably wrong.
She probably just wrote it by feel. Many people do not realize that when they write on their own face, they almost always mirror-write unless they know about it and correct for it, and even then it feels backwards and isn't as easy.
Take a pen and try writing your initials on your forehead, then look in the mirror. They'll appear correctly in the mirror, which of course means they are wrong. Or just trace the letter B on your forehead...was the vertical line on your left side? You just did it backwards.
Now that you know that, do it the other way. Seems unnatural, doesn't it? I can't even get my loops correct in that direction, I know if I was actually drawing it, they wouldn't even touch the vertical line and wouldn't be smooth curves.
It's a very strange effect, probably caused by the fact you're writing the letters correctly relative to your eyes. I.e., if you were 'inside' your face looking at them through your skin, they'd be correct, but, of course, no one else can see them like that, not even you. Or, another way to think about it is, if you wrote them very tiny on your eyeball, they would be correct for you.
Meanwhile, it is nearly impossible to operate your hand correctly guiding it by a mirror without a lot of practice.
Well, Dragyn, was just watching 'House', so going to have one of those trademark House cynic moments.
Because, regardless of what, or whom, you are sincere about... Assuming her sincerity, and that she wasn't either delusional (she now claims she doesn't know how it got drawn on, and if someone was in her car with her), or wanting her 15 minutes of fame..
Sincerity and stupidity are not mutually exclusive conditions.
And you're probably right, David. Though I would say that it wasn't likely done using any instruments at all. It frankly looks more like the work of a fingernail than anything else.
I like the guy talking about a woman 'scarring her face'.
Well, to leave a scar.. first you have to actually break the skin. This didn't quite do that.
Apparently, this woman needs to be in an institution; either a nervous hospital or a correctional facility (or both).
