According to Keith Olbermann, Ben Affleck apologized to him for that hilarious SNL takedown of the Mini-Murrow. Twerpness aboundeth. Please tell me that the Age of Obama is not going to cow these people into cringingly confessing their comedy crimes when they make fun of deserving leftie targets.
All I have to say is: Gigli, Gigli, Gigli!

Yeah, I find absolutely nothing wussy or even surprising about Affleck's note. It sounds like exactly the kind of thing you would leave for someone you liked but were mocking anyway. It doesn't sound like an apology, it sounds like an affectionate shoulder punch after a joke.
This assumes that Olbermann was telling the truth, which is generally a stretch.
Ben Afleck is a whole box of Tools. Not just one.
"I miss you more than Michael Bay missed the mark,
when he made pearl harbor.
I need you like Ben Afleck needs Acting school,
he was terrible in that film."
Olbermann remarked on his Friday night show that he had been invited to Studio 8H to help out with an impersonation of him on the following night's SNL, saying something like, "Good luck getting the character right -- I've been trying for 49 years without much success." So it was hardly a bolt out of the blue for Olbermann.
MATT DAMON!!!
