Aw, Pete, lighten up. Who cares if this video came from a high rise, Coast Guard camera, or the Spaceship Enterprise.
What the pilot did was incredible, and I wonder if his military background was to his advantage in this situation. Not all airline pilots have military training.
Something I found interesting when watching a news report on the crash was the rarity of successful water landings.

The Prairie Home Companion guy did a nice song naming the pilot, co pilot, and the crew of that flight, extolling their quick and correct actions. It was cool.
Wow. Look how quickly they had people out of that plane. Less than a minute from the first splash people are on the wing. Now that's the way to move!
I was surprised by how quickly the ferry was on its way to them. It headed their way and was shown on camera doing that less than two minutes after the landing. It actually arrived in slightly less than four minutes.
