Celebrated Julie's 34th birthday tonight at Eno's, a great gastropub in the Bishop Arts District of Dallas. Good food, cold beer (Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA...is there a better beer anywhere in this country?), and Champagne with the unspeakablyy delicious cuatro leches cake from La Duni.

I adore my wife. Every day is Champagne and cake with her.

I just tried the 90-minute IPA this past week, I would have to agree with you there 100 percent. Besides that my favorite beer, also from Dogfish Head, is the Raison D'Etre.

The 90 is good, but the Dogfish Head 120 is very very good... if not a bit expensive, oh and don't drive after one :)

A Poem To Julie Dreher on her 34th Birthday

Her reticent beauty transcends any light
transmitted by others of ego despite
all their hair raising valor.
Their presence is squalor
compared to Miss Julie. Yes quite!

As radiant as is Julie’s smile,
and laughter to any beguile
She stays self-effacing
while heartbeats are chafing.
To Rod, she’s to Egypt the Nile.
