Michael Jackson: His freaky final months

Sunday June 28, 2009

Categories: Culture

Here's a pretty jaw-dropping insider's account of Michael Jackson's last months and years. He comes off as a kind of Howard Hughes figure, a drugged-out skeleton being controlled by vampires. Except he was a gay drugged-out skeleton being controlled by vampires, according to this account. Interestingly, the journalist who wrote the piece, a guy who spent years within the Jackson world, said he started out believing Michael had molested those boys, but ended up thinking that he had been falsely accused, and that he (MJ) had idiotically made it very easy for his accusers by failing to see why it was creepy to share his bed with somebody else's children.

Observer: I wish "everyone knew" that the Daily Mail was a rag. The British comedian Jeremy Hardy has a routine mocking Mail readers for their apparent belief that they are buying a serious newspaper, something he doesn't believe is true of the people who buy the real trash tabloids like The Sun (UK) or the National Enquirer (US).

Observer: The Daily Mail is rag ...

I am shocked, shocked to learn that the Daily Mail is a rag. Henceforth I shall preserve my innate scepticism until I have read the infallible encyclical in the Times. Its efficacity as fishwrap and birdcage liner is not thereby diminished. I am told the quality use it as an arse cleanser.

I nonetheless hope the King of Dissonance rests in that sublime peace whose like he never bestowed upon his hapless auditors.
