But so is this moving -- and very effective -- video below. It may be one of the best pro-life testimonials out there. Take a moment and watch. And visit Real Alternatives website for more information on the work they do.
* Administering a statewide government-funded alternative to abortion services program that funds pro-life social service agencies, pregnancy support centers, maternity homes, and adoption agencies that provide counseling and material assistance; and,
* Educating other pro-life organizations throughout the country about government funded alternative to abortion services programs.

DML,
Once the decision is made not to murder the baby, nature takes its course. Under the supervision of a competent OB/GYN, that baby will make it one way or another, unless there is some catastrophic anomaly with development that cannot be helped.
So, what do you see as misleading information on that site?
Gerard,
I found the information on condoms to be particularly dangerous. It also provided biased and inaccurate information on the birth control pill. If you were a doctor and gave this information, you would risk losing your medical license in the US and face a mountain of litigation.
DML...
The information on condoms was not inaccurate, as even the CDC notes: "Consistent and correct use of male latex condoms can reduce (though not eliminate) the risk of STD transmission...The most reliable ways to avoid transmission of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), including human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), are to abstain from sexual activity or to be in a long-term mutually monogamous relationship with an uninfected partner. However, many infected persons may be unaware of their infections because STDs are often asymptomatic or unrecognized."
That does not contradict the website, which says: "A U.S. Government study released reveals no proof that condoms prevent the transmission of the most common STDs, including gonorrhea, chlamydial infection, trichomoniasis, genital herpes, syphilis, chancroid, and HPV-associated diseases. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, National Institute of Health, Department of Health and Human Services."
The website also says, "A U.S. Government study released reported that even “consistent” condom use could not eliminate the risk of HIV transmission. Condoms provide only 85% protection against HIV/AIDS."
Again, this isn't false. Since, as the CDC notes, infection can be reduced, but not eliminated, by using condoms.
Looking over the "sexual health quiz," it seems the website is clearly biased, yes -- in favor of abstinence.
Dcn. G.
Deacon, almost anything can be twisted to imply what we want to imply, and this seems to be the case here. A far more extreme example of this kind of twisting would be to claim that the Catholic Church teaches that abstinence does not prevent pregnancy, which is absolutely true and completely false at the same time. Well, at least there was one case, and we will be celebrating her feast soon.
Greg,
Thank you for providing the link to the CDC, everyone should read it to get the straight dope. I agree that abstinence is effective and worth advocating for. I am a realist though, so it would be worthwhile to include other options on top of this, the so called "ABC" approach.
