While I don’t support the burning of the Quran, I can’t help but wonder where CNN and Rick Sanchez were when we had the atheist college Professor Paul Z. Myers desecrating the Eucharist on posting pictures of the act? Maybe I missed it, but I don’t recall Sanchez grilling Myers in a CNN interview. It gives credibility to the statement that anti-Catholicism is the last acceptable prejudice.

I disagree with this book burning. No one should be afraid to burn a Quran because of the violence shown after the Mohammed cartoons. That is 100% the fault of the violent Muslims. I firmly believe that this will serve the purpose of demonstrating whether Muslims believe in the “freedom of expression” we have in the west. There are lots of accusations against muslims that they don’t really accept democratic values, and will resort to violence. Let’s see if its true.

I dont care for burning any books or flag for that matter but it is not illegal to do so and people apparently are able to protest however they feel in this country. Protests in AZ have Mexican and Latin American flags being thrown in our face. Its not right but its not illegal. It just hurts their cause…

To those saying, “gives Christians a bad name.” I’m not religious, but I have to ask: What would it take for Muslims to give Muslims a bad name in the eyes of a liberal?
Maybe torching American flags? Or, perhaps, burning American soldiers and hanging them from bridges? Nah. Liberals hate those things, too.
As long as Muslims don’t burn a “Che” flag, they’re cool with liberals, no matter what else they do.

I say light it up. The book is pure evil and the preacher is right. It is time to stand up to Islam. Someone in the world has to. Besides, if you are really Chrstian, the Quaran is a book of lies and Islam is a false religion, which God hates.

This is obviously the influence of the devil to cause a stir. Yes, the Quran is opposed to Jesus and thus evil, and the truth should be made known, but a stunt like burning it is from an evil spirit to cause trouble.
The Captcha code I just got says “amputate bravely”. What is that, a a reference to Jesus saying cut off parts of your body that cause you to sin? Well, I guess he will do that to his body of the church, then?
Well, I have this opened in my other browser tab: http://blog.beliefnet.com/deaconsbench/2010/07/butchered-muslim-extremists-cut-off-catholics-hand.html
“Amputate bravely”? Well, those people are clearly evil, as we see in the Bible. God will be the one to avenge and burn the unbelievers, as the Bible clearly says. That must mean all Muslims and their book, since they reject Jesus!
