A suspended Roman Catholic priest once accused of stalking late night TV personality Conan O’Brien has now been charged with harassing a Boston TV journalist.Cohasset police say the Rev. David Ajemian was arrested on Thursday for violating a restraining order that required him to stay away Anthony Everett, co-host of “Chronicle” on WCVB-TV.
Police said Ajemian made several calls to the station in violation of a “harassment prevention” order taken out by Everett last week.
Ajemian is scheduled to be arraigned Friday in Quincy District Court. It wasn’t known if he had hired an attorney.
Ajemian pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct in 2008 after being accused of stalking O’Brien.
He was suspended by the Boston archdiocese in 2006 and can no longer function as a priest.

Wow, you’re a deacon? As christians, you would think we would try to find understanding rather than accepting everything that’s printed or reported in the media.
When did Fr. Ajemian become Conan’s priest??
Fr. Ajemian was functioning as parochial vicar at my parish from October 2005 until June 2007. He wasn’t suspended until September 2008 and that came after he disobeyed his bishop’s order to live in a residential treatment center indefinitely, far from his elderly parents, family, and friends. He had already been living in an out-of-state treament center for 10 months–you don’t treat people this way. Within a couple of days, he had a change of heart, it’s called repentence.
After 10 months, it became clear that the Archdiocese wanted to keep him in this new place permanently so he checked out. I do not blame him one single bit.
Fr. Ajemian has never been able to live down the Conan incident, and got no support from the Archdiocese. He wrote to Everett in hopes that someone would help to tell his story, and to show the public that he is not this creepy stalker. I guess his biggest mistake was that he thought someone could possibly care.
