A Prayer for the Work to be Done

Monday November 10, 2008

From time to time, I'll share a prayer I pray with you, to help you through your day.  This one is about facing the realities of what needs to be done, not only to make a living, but also to just get through the daily chores.  It's also about getting the courage and resolve to work on one's own challenges and problems.

God, with this beginning of another day, I thank you for my life and the opportunities you give me.

I am so grateful to be alive today.  To breathe, to think, feel and move is a wonderful miracle, and I am so lucky and graced.

I am grateful for how far we have gone together, God.  I am grateful for the many blessings, and even the obstacles and lessons yet to learn.

As I meet today's challenges, obstacles, lessons, and opportunities, I know I need to remember that we are in this life together.

You have always helped me be my best. I know you will keep on guiding me, encouraging me and lifting me up so that I can lift the heavy loads and finish the jobs still to be done.

So I can do my best, give me the awareness of your love again today, please God, so I will remember you in all the work that comes today and everyday.

Amen.

I hope you have a wonderful, God-filled day today.  I am sure you will remember to remember who gave us this day, and all the infinite possibilities this moment, and this life bring.

I need to remember the miracle of life. That a challenge does not make life a bad day, but a struggle and a lesson and a chance to be stronger. There is always something worse out there, no matter what we think we are going through. We are not alone. So many times my life has turned special with His guidance, he has a purpose for me. I need to relax and pray and find it.

Thank you for praying this prayer. It certainly has helped me get through this day. I am unemployed and living with my in-law, for if it were not for her, I would certainly be homeless. Therefore, I thank you for this prayer and God for this blessing in my life. I know things will improve with his guidance and continual prayers such as this. God bless.

I pray that God will reach out and touch everyone who needs a blessing , even though we all fall down at times in our lives, the lord will always reach down and pick you up right when you are about to give up. Trust me . Please pray for me and my family as we seek to make our live better.

In these trying times...this sure came at the right time for me...I believe I will be passing this along to others that may need encouragement of direction.
I am blessed

Thank-you God for this website, today I was feeling especially low thinking about the struggle I face trying to lose weight. This website came to my email without me looking for it. After reading the prayers I feel that I can go on.
