Dr Norris, what is the best approach for children with helping them to understand the no sugar concept. I'm trying at home with my two 9 and 5 years old and it's not easy.
Thanks
I am wondering what the difference between eating sugar and types of carbs that are available? How does one guage how much calories to eat vs what they should eat? It seems to me a complex issue that would depend on a person's health needs. Does age play a role as well as whether you are male or female? I find I am getting a bit paranoid on what I can or cannot eat. I am also wondering if eating disorders will stem out of this? I am eating reasonably well but am avoiding as much carb and extra sugar. I do eat sugar subs on certain foods that I need such as oatmeal from scratch, my tea and some of my baking. I am almost 60. Thanks, Nancy R.
