I am so excited: I’ve lost 5 pounds in little more than a week.  I needed to do it, as I was again in my range of 10 pounds, 5 up or 5 down, from my ideal weight.  What are my weight loss secrets?

Here’s what I did to lose weight and maintain:

1 – I again quit all sugar.  Everything is sugar-free for me.  That includes anything with added sugar.  No sugared cereal, sugar free juice, baked goods made with added sugar, condiments, etc.

2 – I have cut my carbohydrates as much as possible.   I’m skipping bread, crackers, pastries, chips, and limiting starches like pasta and rice.

3 – I am sure to vigorously re-create (exercise) one hour a day.  Making sure I get to my dance class.  Walking places, and back too.

4 – I fill every moment with prayer.  I’m using the Jesus Prayer, that I have learned in making a movie and writing a book (details at www.MysteriesoftheJesusPrayer.com).

Here’s a quick prayer for whenever you are in trouble:

“God, I need help.  Show me the way.”
