So, the hot news these days is that Leann Rimes is allegedly stalking Eddie Cibrian after their alleged affair.

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not the person to ask about “hot” celebrity news. It’s possible I was the last to know that Angelina Jolie was adopting another baby. And I possibly recently asked a friend, “Who are Jon and Kate? What’s the plus 8?”

So this bit of news caught my interest more on a more basic level.

Cheating = wrong. Stalking = wrong. I think most of us can sorta agree on that. So let’s just assume that all the “allegedly’s” are true. Who do we blame? The public, and Cibrian’s wife, Brandi Glanville, certainly seem to be placing the blame squarely on Rimes’ shoulders. Obviously we as the public know nothing of what went on in their private lives, and ultimately a bigger question is why we feel we have a right to judge at all.

While there isn’t really a dilemma here, I do love how Eddie Cibrian seems to be relegated to a secondary player in this love triangle. Why is the other woman always the stalker, the obsessed, the crazy?
