Oh sure, my last blog post is about making marriage work and this morning my husband wakes up grumpy and not exactly nice. Doug does apologize before going to work, but I could feel my brain triggering anger. I stood my ground with God, with the New Testament concept of a God of Love, Spirit. My prayer was an affirmation that God can control my brain and therefore the anger. Within 20 minutes, the anger was not only gone, but replaced with a thankful calm.
Doug came home and showed me his new beard. Yes, I cracked up.
