Anytime we criticize others, we really need to zero in and see if there is any validation to the remark.

I hear preachers and religious congregants say things like, “Religion is dying because the people are so materialistic.”

Granted, the last century of materialistic consumerism took a toll on humanity in the United States however religion has been fading in Europe for a longer period of time even when countries were pitted with war, wall building, and tyranny.

Our statements are arguments and we don’t want to argue on the side of materialism or excuse making because it makes us complacent.

When the goal is to love life and truth, rather than religion or science, we are surprised to find people really are genuinely trying to improve. People are learning from their mistakes and evolving into a consciousness of empathy, even doing so religiously.
