The book Twelve Ordinary Men,  by John MacArthur is keeping my attention. MacArthur details the lives of Christ Jesus’ apostles beginning with the fact that these disciples were ordinary. Fishermen, a doctor, a tax collector. Jesus chose 12 people to send out and spread the good news about a God of Love and healing. Jesus didn’t choose a religious authority or rock star or business mogul, but ordinary people.

An ordinary 2013 is not so bad when we hear Christ calling.

From 21st Century Science and Health, “Jesus said, ‘You are the salt of the earth…You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.’[1] Let us pay attention and participate in spirituality. Let us pray that this salt doesn’t lose its saltiness, and that this light is not hidden, but radiates and glows into the glory of the sun at noon.

The infinite Truth of the Christ-cure has come to this age through a ‘gentle whisper.’”[2]
