Here are today’s dispatches from the crossroads of faith, media and culture.

1. How you can become a contestant on a Bible-based game show.  RealityREAL and multi-faith media organization Odyssey Networks are producing The American Bible Challenge, a game show hosted by comedian Jeff Foxworthy being prepped to air on GSN (fka The Game Show Network). So, of course, contestants are needed. If you consider yourself an expert on The Bible (and also know at least a little something about pop culture) you may want to try out for to win what’s being called “Big Dollars” for your favorite charity. (Remember, it is better to give than to receive.).

Here’s how it works. The producers are seeking lively teams of three (i.e. friends, family co-workers) to compete. All contestants must be at least 18 years old.  Auditions are being set up in  Los Angeles, Sacramento, Dallas, Chicago, and Atlanta.
