Thanks for alerting me to Ameinu. I was pleased to see articles there from some of my favorite progressive Jews, including Daniel Sokatch of the Progressive Jewish Alliance.
American Jews have a role in working toward a more peaceful, less extreme Middle East...which in turn will help calm tempers in many places throughout the world. We need to get over our knee-jerk prejudices and really start talking to each other.
