The Man Who Started It All
In WALKING THE BIBLE, he's still sitting there forever, behind a cloud of smoke, saying, "People like me don't have time to talk to people like you," then calling me at home that night to introduce me to Avner. Now, nearing 100, he has finally passed.Avraham Biran, an archaeologist of biblical site

I was on the floor the other day and came across a man of about forty who wore on his left breast what looked like a military medal. A small ribbon pinned to his chest with a medallion hanging from it. It was the credential that his grandfather wore at the 196

What about Ishtar? Rather than having to watch the entire movie, several audience members committed seppuku with their soda straws.

I actually think it’s funny that the article seems to imply that the production and viewing of these movies in any way inhibits God’s ability to woo our souls and usher us into truth. These movies do not represent truth. They represent, perhaps, someone’s bitter experience with religion, their frustration that they cannot make God in their own image, and…unfortunately…all the material we Christians have given them to work with in making these “Anti-Christian” movies.
It has been said that we are living in a post-God era, and the culture we live has an increasing interest not only in removing God from the public forum, but in making atheists out of anyone who will listen.
This is not a new thing, and it is actually amusing that the writer of the article would treat it as though it were. In Paul’s time, people were being killed for their faith, yet God still drew people to Himself and invited them into an wonderful and intimate relationship with Him. Christianity…more to the point, followers of Christ…has certainly withstood greater adversity than that brought on by a few movies. God is so much bigger than that.

Thank you for the information. It would be great to comment on every new movie, if it is anti-christian or not.
