Fellowship of Saints and Sinners

Sunday Silliness for Restless Souls

This tribute to the many “restless souls” out there among my generation and younger who are wandering from one relationship to the next in search of just the right person with whom to pair off, comes from fellow saint and sinner Alize.  I can vouch for the fact that this spot, “Relationship Screams,” produced by Dormtainment, made me chuckle.

Incidentally, I heard the other day that the various online dating sites out there that are all the rage, including the one I saw advertised last week on a big billboard off the freeway (www.christianmingle.com), are actually making it harder to be monogamous.  Apparently all the possible options make it tempting to think that the person you’re currently seeing isn’t good-looking or nice or spiritual or whatever enough, because the next person whose profile pic winks back at you from your menu of virtual options might be all those things and more.  Has that been your experience? (Feel free to divulge, rant or empathize in the comments section below.)

Ah, the brave new world of dating! I extend my sympathy to all my single friends.  Hopefully this will make for some therapeutic laughter:
