I am a Magnificent Woman Thanks to My Mom

posted by melanielutz

An ancient melody calls us

to the awareness of who we are

Infinite heart

Infinite love

Infinite peace

Fierce compassion

Ultimate power

 I am a Magnificent Woman

I reclaim the energy of creation

I open up to new possibilities

I am an active and purposeful participant

I own my gifts

And use them

I call on the teachers of the past

I call on the hearts and spirits of those women who were burned for their beliefs

Those women willing to lose their life in service of the truth

I call on our sisters and mothers and grandmothers and our daughters

I call on the birth right of the feminine

I will

Give birth

To what wants to be born

I am a Magnificent Woman.

I will own what I know

I will be who I am

I will remember the truth

I will call on those around me

To join together

In celebration

I will quite simply — grow up.

Answering the call of my being

To wake up

The healing and nourishing spirit

Of my birthright

I am

a Magnificent Woman.

Waiting for a Miracle

posted by melanielutz

All over the globe right now people are waiting for a miracle. They are in need and they are looking for an answer to their prayers.

“seek not outside of yourself
Heaven can not be found  outside yourself.
Seek not outside insisting it is possible to find what you crave.
Seek no longer elsewhere to what resides within.”

May every miracle asked for be granted. May every circumstance that needs shifting, shift and may all our needs in every situation be met.

Patience and prayer is the way we make manifest everyday miracles delivering us through any circumstance.

Make the connection with the source of all that is, opening your heart into that space allowing what works through you to do what it does best.

With so much light and love.

Mel Town Nugget – Telling the Truth

posted by melanielutz

“Telling the truth when we feel vulnerable is one of the hardest things to do. We might fear rejection, abandonment, disapproval, disappointment, rage, hurt, or just the raw exposure that’s an unavoidable part of the process. Yet almost every time we’re willing to tell a hard truth, we grow and deepen in presence, no matter the response. The energy that we previously locked up to maintain a false front is freed to uplift and enliven us.”

Raphael Cushnir

Any practice of sharing the truth beyond our fear of outcome is one way to reaffirm your faith.

Release the energy of your soul and speak your truth. In doing so you live your life in the present and open up the energy of the divine to work through you. In love sometimes the response, answer, reaction may be no,  and it might hurt, and people might run for the hills but the truth can not be threatened and serves everyone involved and is always miraculous.

Enjoy the sweet freedom of sharing who you are.

In that space God smiles.

What a Difference a Year Makes

posted by melanielutz

Being Human - What a Difference a Year Makes - Flight of the Soul - Melanie LutzStanding in the kitchen talking to two of my dear friends over a hot cup of tea we came to a sudden realization looking at each other and said. “What a difference a year makes.”

Never had a statement resonated with such a beautiful gong ringing zest.

After all we had been through last year we were happy to be alive. We were happy that we were together and in so many ways felt blessed that in our own way we were celebrating.

The previous year they had been diagnosed with colon cancer and leukemia – respectively – causing all the requisite upending of life. In my own case, I related. Last year while my health was good I was in a massive crisis and was wading through so much psychic material having reached the end of the line with my deeply unfortunate past patterns that would not quit.

Happily we were all alive. Each of us had dealt with death and come out the other side. We each had a working understanding of what it was like to surrender to that which we can not change and having been through our experiences we each had developed a tenor of acceptance and a mechanism to live in uncertainty and to allow a process to unfold over which our imagined control had no possibility of being believed.

There had been so much fear. So much pain and in equal parts so much healing that had to take place for all of us to be standing together in the kitchen making this statement.

My one friend just back from Venezuela where he met a woman and asked her to marry him. He reasoned “I love her. I lover her son. What am I waiting for?”

I agreed. “Nothing. This time next year we’ll all be a year older and we can make any change we need to make. Happily ever after is moment to moment.”

Starting now.

We never know what lies ahead or if this breath will be our last.

God willing we will be given more tomorrows.

Every time I make a choice to expand my heart, answering the call and being in service to my soul’s growth I am rewarded with warmth and love and a full knowing I have this moment. I have this time to be myself, to share who I am and I have this moment to be fully with who is in front of me and love them fully and eternally leaving it all in the moment.

Because.

That might be it. All I am given.

My dear friends and I feel nothing but gratitude.

In hearing their story. In listening to their troubles and triumphs and in understanding the healing of body, the minds perceptions that had taken place I know that I am every story. I am that person. I am that.

AND I am better for everything that I have overcome.

I remember to be happy with what I have. I practice loving with all my heart and take the action I know in my heart needs to be done.

I Love in the moment and live my life in the explosive intensity of now.

What I Remember Now and Forever

posted by melanielutz

Everyone I meet changes me.

All that surrounds me is nature’s elegance.

Love offers up endless opportunity to expand exponentially.

Any thought in my head that isn’t loving is not true.

My friends know who I am and show up when I need them.

Offering all of myself to any effort is the greatest gift I can bring.

Be happy with what you have.

Life is lived breath by breath.

Being a writer is a privilege.

I am

Grateful.

The most amazing thing to me is how much and how often I forget.

Please feel free to add to the list and join me in remembering that each new day is an amazing adventure filled with joy and light and so many opportunities to remember the truth.

lots of Love,

Holy or Unholy? It’s a Matter of Perception

posted by melanielutz

“It is holy or unholy depending on how we perceive it and the purpose that the mind ascribes to it.”

Letting go of the need to know of a future that can never be set in stone, that only exists in the mind frees the moment of now and gives everything up for the grand beingness of spirit. Experiencing the timelessness of the truth. Forever held. Eternal. No connection lost in the birthless and deathless reality of Love remaining in service  to the present.

Make a commitment to seeing beyond the story of your perception.

Do it with a song.

As I was browsing through youtube I saw this… from the the last episode of the “I Love Lucy” series “Lucy Meets the Moustache.”  Catch the poignancy of each moment when you know that after a successful marriage, a long running beloved series and two children, Lucy and Desi were divorcing.

Love doesn’t mean that you need to stay together. You can still remember all the love was real and move on.

I can only give you sunshine

That’s all

There are those that told you they would give the world

All I have are these arms to hold you.

If you wonder what I’m

My plans are small

It’s me that you adore

For now and ever more

And that’s all.

As the two of us sit in the room.

It finds the silence of conclusion.

In this space eternity flows fully and freely.

I can only give you love that lasts forever,

And a promise to be near each time you call.

And the only heart I own

For you and you alone

That’s all,

That’s all…

I can only give you country walks in springtime

And a hand to hold when leaves begin to fall;

And a love whose burning light

Will warm the winter’s night

That’s all,

That’s all.

There are those I am sure who have told you,

They would give you the world for a toy.

All I have are these arms to enfold you,

And a love time can never destroy.

If you’re wondering what I’m asking in return, dear,

You’ll be glad to know that my demands are small.

Say it’s me that you’ll adore,

For now and evermore

That’s all,

That’s all.
