I surrender now and forever in this moment to the thoughts of God. In this breathe to all that is. Humbled. Knowing I have to do nothing and I get to be present to this great wonder of the divine peace within.

“Surrender your defenses and open your heart. It is okay. You are not alone. You are not alone in your feelings, You are not alone in your joy, You are connected in that space of the heart. In accepting your feelings as part of the wholeness of who you are, in saying “Yes!” to all of you. You are releasing any judgment taking the largest step into self love.”

Sometimes I start somewhere like today, with the topic of acceptance and it provides a point of entry, a point of dropping into the wave of the movement that is necessary for the work to express itself on the page. It is a profound part of the writing process, those moments where the discipline of the hours and the gravity of the mechanism that has developed expresses its weight and density to bring forth realizations and truths. You can never predict what will happen, it is often a surprise but it is wholly known. When I was in full swing of the concept of Acceptance, everything necessary for this moment dropped forward and came through bringing with it a heart felt movement.

When I am in this space I find it helpful to open up a blank page, a space where I am totally free to go in a different direction and allow the feelings of the deeper waters to take hold to move the work forward.

To be afforded insight into the human heart, to be able to bare witness to the light bulb moments, reconnecting and resurrecting parts of myself that had long lay dormant, unearthing them through this lovely process of feelings working like sweat detoxing whatever weighs me down, is an intense workout. When I look at it as a workout life becomes easier to pick up and carry not as a weight but as a full out adventure.

It helps me stay in touch with my feelings. I now know they are important. They are not who I am.

Who I am is saying a full and resounding “YES!” to myself. Exactly as I am. Right now.

2012 is lining up to be a fabulous energetic explosion of opportunities to remember how magnificent the universal symbols that surround us are to remind us of the great power that exists within us that is not of us that is ever ready to rise up and engage our humanity at a new level of collaboration.

Today we enter the year of the dragon. It is 1/23 and the numerology of a new beginning is fully engaged.

Because of this fortuitous opening — starting 2/2/12 Flight of the Soul will be kicking into a year of powerful numerological activity taking advantage of conscious events with each successive number month and day to build toward the best of all years, where life is fabulous, love is flourishing and each activity builds on the last in wonderful exponential terrificness.

When you know in your heart that something is not sitting right in your being. It is not a time to stay quiet. We are being called on so many levels to answer the call of our being and to do what we know is the responsible action.

Do not stay quiet. Do not silence your voice. Speak your truth.

Right now!

Creating an opening means revealing and unfolding the quantum moment of total connection to source that provides everything necessary for full achievement of peace of mind with the full blessing and freedom of divine will expression.

How do we embrace new possibility for things being different in this moment then they were in the last when we have spent so many years and developed so many ways to close ourselves off from what is truly the most loving expression of our soul?

By definition open means

I’ll give you an example — my closed off policy was the statement “I don’t know how to be with anyone.” I believed this so strongly I created a life that no matter who I was with I was what they call “Alone Together” isolated from interacting and hidden from the natural connection available in community with others.

When I heard “beware an unrecognized belief” I didn’t quite get it. It is hard to get until you start uncovering and opening yourself up to what you have refused to see and refused to acknowledge and have buried for so long it really does take a full on excavation team to rescue the information from the tombs.

Wanting a new experience involves recognizing that unrecognized belief. That statement which we are unaware is ruling our actions.

I tried not to think of this unrecognized belief as a problem but I looked at it as an opportunity to transform and I knew it had to start with me. Perhaps some journaling about what I want would create an opening. I put pen to paper and this comes out.

I’d rather let my guard down and be hurt than hide out.

I’d rather do anything than go backward.

I’d rather be moving forward than moving backward.

I guess I’ve never been open

Each step a new one

Each time a place

To experience

I don’t want to be tough enough to withstand the hurt that becomes resistance that keeps me stuck. I want to walk through what I need to with eyes closed if necessary to see the truth. whatever it is and be open. I will do this with each breath. I will create openings. My openings.

I look at what I wrote and I am surprised. What is revealed to me is what my conscious mind has hidden and what I didn’t see before reveals what remains in clarity as the mystery of the miracle of sight.

All of this is interesting.

I am ready to be open. I do so now.

… I say to you, “I love you. I would rather die than hate you.” And I’m foolish enough to believe that through the power of this love somewhere, men of the most recalcitrant bent will be transformed. And then we will be in God’s kingdom. We will be able to matriculate into the university of eternal life because we had the power to love our enemies, to bless those persons that cursed us, to even decide to be good to those persons who hated us, and we even prayed for those persons who despitefully used us.

Oh God, help us in our lives and in all of our attitudes, to work out this controlling force of love, this controlling power that can solve every problem that we confront in all areas. Oh, we talk about politics; we talk about the problems facing our atomic civilization. Grant that all men will come together and discover that as we solve the crisis and solve these problems “the international problems, the problems of atomic energy, the problems of nuclear energy, and yes, even the race problem” let us join together in a great fellowship of love and bow down at the feet of Jesus. Give us this strong determination.”

Today we honor a man whose belief in the principles of Love in action as a social force of transformation ignited a movement that exploded heinous injustices across our land. Martin Luther King Jr. utilized Ghandi’s principles of non-violence to great effect. These words selected from the end of his sermon from 1957 in Alabama speaks to loving your enemies as yourself, to forgiving those “who have trespassed against you.” and to fully recognizing the true power of love.

I am glad to follow in some of the footsteps of a true soul stirring believer in the power of love.

So today, open your heart and lean into its power, get comfortable with how it feels… because there is much to celebrate and much work ahead. There is no doubt as we move through what is necessary. WE SHALL OVERCOME!

When you step onto the path of uncovering your Soul’s calling, you start hearing and articulating things you did not want to know, and it can be overwhelming. When you ask the universe Why am I Here? and it lets you know. Loudly and clearly. Don’t get thrown. The soul’s siren song is always broadcasting and could care less about your thoughts, plans, etc. The soul doesn’t make any distinctions between light and dark, doesn’t care about pain or heartache, and absolutely doesn’t want to hear what you think you should be doing. It worries not over failure, or success.  It knows what it knows. It is a soul’s calling. Your code. The reason you are here.

In listening to these quieter certain voices within we understand the process of faith in our intuition of who we can be. Who we are to become and allow us to embrace all that we are.

These first lines of a Pablo Narudo poem written near the end of his career looking back at his beginnings brings the feeling to life in the poetic language…

“Something ignited in my soul, fever or unremembered wings, and I went my own way deciphering that burning fire.”

The heart and soul only cares that you do it your way.

Give this all the oxygen it needs.

Listen to what is being called for.

Take the next step even though it is scary.

Listen to what you know you need to do and please do it. We are all at the point where we need to embrace all at we know and stand in that truth of who we are and what ignites our soul.

“How was your year?” I asked expecting the sigh and heaviness so many people have expressed about 2011. The answer that came back held all the love that one person could express for the past.

“I am so grateful for everything that happened this year.”

She continued noticing my surprise.

“It is the only way to be. No matter what we must always hold the space for grace for what has happened and embrace it. It is the only way. I always am so thankful for everything.”

I looked at her and felt a shift. I knew that she was right and as always the universe had delivered it’s message for my final steps of 2011.

Be grateful for all of it. No matter what. Be grateful!

Where on Christmas Eve I was ready to complain about what a nut bag, crazy, oddly unsatisfying year it had been, with so much turmoil and tribulation and seeming giant leaps backward thanks to this beautiful person I was now seeing things with fresh eyes. I was in full appreciation for EVERYTHING that went on this year and how it changed me and helped me grow and tested my patience and made me understand how much power and strength lie on the other side of my beliefs. My faith was established and held and no matter what came up I found a way to the other side with Love.

How this is true for each of us becomes the happiness of our days. You don’t need to be a wise man to get the saying it matters not what happens to us it is always our perception that needs tending. Make any shift in your thinking. Make your story resonate with Joy. No matter what. Be loving.

Thank you past! Thank you for all you have taught me and all that you have brought to light and everything that you have represented. Thanks 2011~!
