One thing flying around Facebook right now is what I’m calling the iPod Shuffle Oracle Game. Basically you take your MP3 player or iTunes, set it to shuffle songs, ask a question, and hit “play.”
It’s actually hugely fun and somewhat eerie. Sometimes the “answers” are as cryptic as a curbside psychic, but sometimes they’re spine-chillingly on. Like I asked a question about this man in my life and up came “our” song, instantly. Out of about 4,000. Give it a try. Here’s my Facebook thingy, below. Try it for yourself and paste in the comments section, or share your own version. It’s an incredibly simple, somewhat high-tech form of divination.
