Valeri did you really check facts first???

Ashtanga Yoga's Founder ? where did you get this info if your posting things check facts first have you ever read patanjalis 8 limbs of yoga (ashtanga)? i guess not.

Pattabhi jois certified teacher by pattabhi in sweden dont teach pranayama adn meditation after asanas they do ujjayi aware breath during the asanas and dead corpse pose shavasana after the asanas for 5 minutes and meditation can only be done in sitting posture.

If you read upanishad the old scriptures also just check what the 8 limbs means i read an interview with pattabhi and he doesnt teach pranayama cause its dangerous *sigh* well read for you self and you will se that this pattabhi jois doesnt really teach traditional yoga , its just westernadjusted for his own pocket sake.

8 limbs of yoga includes pranayama which in the scriptures is essential (ujjayi breathing during asanas cannot be called pranayama) as pranayama is suppose to collect energy the prana = life force and how can you collect when you exert yourself.

meditation is the most essential for self-realization where is meditation in his teaching ( in sweden none of his certified teacher gives meditation)

Read sadhana by swami sivananda
yoga darshan - bihar (based on upanishad)

after theese 2 books you will come to know that pattabhi is nothing but aerobics and not yoga. sorry to break your hearts - truth can hurt sometimes but dont live in ignorance

Daniel, while your knowledge may be very vast, your compassion does not seem very yoga like. Be kind grasshopper. Open to grace.

KAREN:

im just here to inform lost souls. not to hurt the people who think its real yoga. Im sorry if i hurt your kind of yoga. people must wake up from this illusion of yoga,...

Karen if i am yoga compassion which means not to hurt others ,,, i mean not to inform them will hurt more if they waste a lifetime to this kind of yoga. it is said by all the great enlightened one that you must gain spirituality in this lifetime , that what you gain in this lifetime you will take with you to the next life. so if i sound harsh its not my meaning. if i can help some people to understand this but hurt 50 its still worth it. and if you get hurt means you are not spiritual at all.

So im doing this to help people. dont take it the other way around.
