Haiti is hurting right now in the aftermath of an enormous earthquake. A friend just passed this bit of info along that I’ve verified:

“Text ‘HAITI’ To 90999 To Donate $10 To American Red Cross- One small thing we all can do to help millions in need right now.”

We’ll be adding more ways to help later in the day.

To keep up check out the Red Cross Twitter feed, which is updating with numbers to call for missing loved ones, ways to help and more.

The great organization Beyond Borders has also made it easy to donate online.
