I just got back from Omega Institute’s Ecstatic Chant festival. And OMG. I don’t know where to begin. I’ll be doing a series of posts on it (sorry if chanting isn’t your thing! check out our great archives on Fresh Living if it’s not). But I have that wonderfully juiced, alive feeling that comes from being surrounded by hundreds of like-minded folks for three days. And when I say three days, I mean three days. Friday night we chanted from 8pm to midnight, Saturday from 9 am to 6:30 am the next morning and then from 9 am to 2 am again. And closed with a Monday morning session. With breaks for clean meals, lake-swimming, friend-making, dance classes, and oh yeah, sleep!

So much richness. Gratitude. And impossible to explain. So below, sharing a video of one of my favorite moments of the weekend–a spontaneous lunchtime jam with Jai Uttal and his banjo on the dining hall porch. It just gives a flavor of the vibe–as Holly just said to me: “I feel llike I can see the theta waves.”
