On The Religious Left, Great Expectations
The first priorities for Barack Obama's administration will be the economy and a variety of foreign policy issues. But the burgeoning religious left, which worked so hard to get Obama elected, expects some movement on its issues, including a robust White House office of faith-based initiatives, pove

Howard Dean's Vindication
God-o-Meter wrote a piece for today's Roll Call on the vindication of Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean's much-derided 50-State Strategy, which is largely about reaching out to the nation's more religious voters in the red states:
Years before Barack Obama showed that a liberal Demo

A Post-Election Chat with Ralph Reed
Amid today's talk that Barack Obama has narrowed the God Gap, God-o-Meter checked in with Ralph Reed, who spearheaded religious outreach for George W. Bush's 2000 and 2004 campaigns and who pioneered such outreach for Republicans as executive director of the Christian Coalition.

More Innacurate Faith Storylines From the Media
God-o-Meter is struck by the number of faith-based storylines the news media appear to have gotten dead wrong this year.
One was the line that Obama was poised to make big gains among white votes, especially evangelicals, who were undergoing a generational shift in their political thinking and reexa

Yes, Ron Paul is the only republican, it seems these days, who remembers the teachings of Christ.

Ron Paul is the only person who can take our country back to fiscal responsibility and toward Peace in the world as apposed to world domination and nuclear war.

I am dismayed as to the scant coverage Ron Paul has received from the msm. He has won almost every straw poll taken, and is imho the last hope for America to pull itself out of the morass that Iraq is, and the globalist agenda that is being set for all of North America via stealth. Regarding globalism, if there was ever a more anti -Christian, anti – God agenda, I would like to hear of it. Globalism truly reeks of pure evil, it is a pathetic attempt by the control freaks, by that I refer to the bildeberg ilk – i.e. the Rockefellers, Rothschilds etc. (who are the current master puppeteers) to reverse God’s dispersion of mankind at the tower of Babel. Anyway, I really do hope Paul wins the republican nomination and goes on to be President, beyond that, God will intervene when that time comes.

Fellow Christians…PRAY HARD! I know God is in control here. Ron Paul is not a polititian. He is man of God who does not ‘use’ religion as a means to draw a certian appretiation, but this is actually who the man is! If you are a Christian, I beg of you, vote for Ron Paul and pray hard with me that globalization and big government….and ultimately the end can be post-poned atleast for our childrens generation. Let us pray that our nation returns to God, by means of a godly leader. Let us pray for more time.

Ron Paul doesn’t use religion as a weapon, unlike, say Huckabee. With RP we’d have freedom, with Huckabee, a dictatorial theocracy.
