The God-o-Meter (pronounced Gah-DOM-meter) scientifically measures factors such as rate of God-talk, effectiveness—saying God wants a capital gains tax cut doesn't guarantee a high rating—and other top-secret criteria (Actually, the adjustment criteria are here). Click a candidate's head to get his or her latest God-o-Meter reading and blog post. And check back often. With so much happening on the campaign trail, God-o-Meter is constantly recalibrating!
I would not vote for any of them. I do not believe they have any Idea who God is. Its all about votes, and they will say anything to get them. I am voting for GOD. He is the only one who does not lie.
And his promises are always kept.
He is they only one a person can believe. For he states the truth.
After hearing her questioned on TV about her faith during the marital crsis between her and Bill. Her answer "I couldn't have gottten through it without it." I was convinced that she really meant it. But my vote for her will not be based on her religiousity but will be based on her intelligent understanding of politics both
foriegn and at home. I also know she will do her homework on issues
of importance to all of us. There isn't any question that she would make the best President of any one running whether democrat or republican.
First do YOUR homework. What can you base her intelligence on? Her lack of a history? Her locked up school records? Her shredded law records? Her locked up white house records? Maybe you'll base it on her failed health care plan? Her inability to compromise? The fact that she couldn't pass the DC bar exam - the easiest in the nation? If you refuse to do your homework as a voter, then stay home!
We should not be concerned over her not passing the DC bar....we have to many attorneys in politics right now! Because of this, both parties have gotten away from the needs and desires of the common man.The shift in power in 2006 is nothing compared to 2008.
The American people voted in '06 to stop this war and the democrats have made public with the voting on both floors that, when they have more seats with more dems in them, the ignorance in Iraq will end.
The God-o-meter article is a waste of space on this website.
I also do not believe that time magazine is an expert on
who is "Godly" and who is not. Give people the benefit of being able to make that decision on their own reality, not another media
source filling our heads with worthless information.
Why would anyone be interested in the "amount of faith" displayed or discussed by a politician? If anyone wants to insure we have a 'religious-enough' president, they should read more about Middle Eastern fundamentalists and the women who live with them.
I'm from Arkansas, where Bill and Hillary came from.
Everyone loved Bill, still do. But, even people in Arkansas can't stand Hillary. She's simply power hungry! Power is all she cares about. She's rode Bill's tail as long as she could, just to get her own name and power.
Experience??? She has none. Being the first lady in Arkansas and the Whitehouse doen't mean anything. Ok, she has done some charity work... so what!!
She has served as a elected official for 6-7 years. That makes her one of the least experienced candidates!!!
Obama has served as an elected official longer with his experience as both a US and Illinois Senator. Plus when he was College, he was president of the law club. An honor that Hillary never achieved at her law school. Obama has a better family life. We all know about Hillary's family life!!!!
I THINK HILLARY IS THE "LEAST" RELIGIOUS OF ALL THE CANDIDATES! I DON'T THINK SHE HAS A RELIGIOUS BONE IN HER BODY!
It is delightful to have a candidate that doesn't wear her religion on her sleeve. Separation of church and state should be remembered by all politicians. There is no reason that a god has to be involved in running this country.
Hillary could be an atheist and I'd vote for her.
Hillary Clinton is the most intelligent, compassionate and politically charged runner for President I have every seen. People hate her because they don't know her. Just because her husband was an outwardly, charasmatic, sweet talking President doesn't mean that because Hillary doesn't have the same personality, people should degrade her so. She believes in peace, devotion (she is still with Bill!!) issues of the poor--and minorities. She cares so much about children and the future of America. Hillary can move this country forward and not backward into the dark ages like the Bush family has done. If you read some of the articles of Hillary when she was in College and growing up in an extremely conservative, religious family you might get a different impression of her. I am one that is glad she doesn't spray religious doctrine around like her fellow candidates for President. She talks about the issues at hand--religion is NOT one of them.
Hillary is paranoid. She accused an honest voter in Iowa since he asked a question on her Iran war vote (she's about as peace-loving as Bush) of being a 'plant'. Then she insinuated that the question was 'fed' to him by someone else.
She's got a low opinion of real people. They can't possibly think for themeselves. What an inconvenience all those voters are! They get in the way of the election she's running.
How could anyone with a mind in the body think that anyone could have more experience on which to justify joinin the presidential race??? Where have they been...under a rock? Former President Bill Clinton never made a move without his wife Hillary. That means that she has really served in the Oval Room for eight (8) years. Does it matter what segment of her overall profile is religious? Remember, wanting power and getting it is a horse of a different hoof. Having served with Bill in the White House for eight years puts by far the most experienced candidate for the job. I was thrilled that Buill Clinton had Hillary by his side during his white house years and I am doubly thrilled to know that Hillary Clinton will 'flip the coin' and have Bill by her side during her tenure in the White House. Thanks!!!
Just Sign Me -- 'Thrilled to be able to witness the unfolding of the first Female President of the United States.
