The God-o-Meter (pronounced Gah-DOM-meter) scientifically measures factors such as rate of God-talk, effectiveness—saying God wants a capital gains tax cut doesn't guarantee a high rating—and other top-secret criteria (Actually, the adjustment criteria are here). Click a candidate's head to get his or her latest God-o-Meter reading and blog post. And check back often. With so much happening on the campaign trail, God-o-Meter is constantly recalibrating!
Mormonism teaches that men can literally become a god like Jesus and His Father. Any reading of Mormon religious texts makes that ever clear. Romney cannot escape the reality of the new religion created by Joseph Smith. Yes, it is certainly a spinoff of judeo-christian religions, but it is diamtrically different than Christianity. Just "Jesus Christ" in the name of a Church group is no indication that there are Christians inside, or, running the place. A "Mormon speech" would doom Romney. In Massachusetts literally "anything goes," but that is not the case in real America, or within real Christianity.
As the Bible says, "Ye shall know them by their fruits". If you doubts whether there are Christians inside a Mormon church, why not see for yourself and visit a Mormon Church. You are not too scared to visit a Mormon Church for yourself are you TC-07? You will not find any better Christians than inside the Mormon Church. They practice what they preach.
I am very sorry to tell you that Mormons are NOT Christians.
I was raised in the LDS religion and have since found the truth in the Bible. God is the Alpha and the Omega. There are NO other gods than
our Father. Mormon men will NEVER become Gods!
I also know about the oath that these men take to do what "the church"
tells them to do".
The LDS people are definitely good people and have very good moral
values, and that is what attracts people to the Mormon church.
The church boasts of how many members they have...the problem is that
most of those people brought to the church by missionaries become what you call "inactive" which really means that they saw through the charade and quit. You can never get off their rolls!
I am sure glad that the "Supreme Court" of world religions determinig who is and who is not a Christian is not made up of humans with human faults and misunderstanding. I am glad that God and not man, or woman, will be the judge of who will enter his kingdom in heaven.
I feel very sorry for the former Mormon Deborah. You never gained a witness for yourself of the truth of the Lord's church, if you had you would still be a member.
I too am so thankful that our Heavenly Father is the one who will judge us all in the end and not man. I love the gospel and I am so thankful that my Heavenly Father has blessed me with it in my life. I have never been so sure of my path in life than I am now. I have no doubt that this gospel is the only gospel with the full truth. I can't wait until that great day when Christ comes again and the truth will be told to all nations.
