Romney Talks "Judeo-Christian Tradition"

In an interview with the Washington Times, Mitt Romney says his faith is part of America's Judeo-Christian tradition:

"I think as people come to know my faith they'll recognize that the values of my faith are — they very much flow from the Judeo-Christian tradition of this country. I believe in God, I believe in Jesus Christ, I believe in the equality of all humankind...."

But the more telling quote is this:

"I think a very valid question to ask a person of faith is what are their values and how would those values inform their decision making and their presidency. ... These values are very much a part of who I am and what will inform my presidency."

God-o-Meter points out that the issue Romney's response cleverly sidesteps, and that many Americans want to hear him weigh in on, is not simply what the values he has as a "person of faith" and how those values inform his decision making, but rather how his Mormonism informs his values and decision making.
