On The Religious Left, Great Expectations
The first priorities for Barack Obama's administration will be the economy and a variety of foreign policy issues. But the burgeoning religious left, which worked so hard to get Obama elected, expects some movement on its issues, including a robust White House office of faith-based initiatives, pove

Howard Dean's Vindication
God-o-Meter wrote a piece for today's Roll Call on the vindication of Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean's much-derided 50-State Strategy, which is largely about reaching out to the nation's more religious voters in the red states:
Years before Barack Obama showed that a liberal Demo

A Post-Election Chat with Ralph Reed

More Innacurate Faith Storylines From the Media
God-o-Meter is struck by the number of faith-based storylines the news media appear to have gotten dead wrong this year.
One was the line that Obama was poised to make big gains among white votes, especially evangelicals, who were undergoing a generational shift in their political thinking and reexa

You’re afraid to give her a 10, aren’t you?

The Clintons have no morals and it is sad that she has to advertise how loving she is. She is known to be a vile, mean spirited and a woman with a hardened heart. She only cares about power and greed. Look into the background of the Clinton Adminstration and question the people who went to jail for them and how some mysteriously died (?suicide). We can all profess a religion when it is convenient but Hillary is a liar, thief and vile. Look into the Clinton Administration deeply and you will see what I mean. It is not about voting for a woman for president but you have to look at the woman. Sadly enough most women do not.

KathaleenAZ, I don’t know the Clintons personally, but I would venture a guess that you do not either. Unfortunately, power and greed are common atributes among politicians in general. I am reminded of “Read my lips, no new taxes”, and then there is the theft of our civil liberties by the current administration. Mr. Clinton did a pretty good job of balancing the budget and we did not invade anyone in his tenure either. Hillary is probably of a similar mindset as Bill and she seems like a good choice for redefining our place in the world. As a side benefit, she will not take away a woman’s right to choose.

KathaleenAZ you might want to reread your blog…. You think Hillary Clinton is “vile, mean spirited and a woman with a hardened heart?!?! Your diatribe suggests to me that’s a more accurate description of yourself.
Not that I’m a huge fan of the Clintons, but I don’t see how anyone can deny the prosperity this nation enjoyed throughout the 1990′s under Bill’s leadership.
I’m a Republican who will support Romney if he wins the party nomination, but would sooner vote for Clinton before I’d vote for any of the other characters the GOP has to offer. The rest are too beholden to the religious right and I will have nothing more to do with that nonsense.
