Clinton’s Lopsided Jewish Support

posted by dgilgoff | 5:24pm Saturday January 19, 2008

clinton.jpgToday’s Democratic caucus in Nevada provided the first real glimpse of which way Jewish voters, an important Democratic constituency, are leaning in the vote for president. According to entrance polls, Hillary Clinton won 67-percent of Jews, who accounted for 5-percent of caucus goers, compared to just 25-percent for Obama. Did recent coverage of Obama’s controversial Chicago pastor, an ally of Louis Farrakhan, contribute to Clinton’s lopsided victory? God-o-Meter’s not so sure. After all, Clinton has long been a staunch supporter of Israel, while Obama’s commitment to the Jewish state has been questioned.

On The Religious Left, Great Expectations
The first priorities for Barack Obama's administration will be the economy and a variety of foreign policy issues. A Post-Election Chat with Ralph Reed
Amid today's talk that Barack Obama has narrowed the God Gap, God-o-Meter checked in with Ralph Reed, who spearheaded religious outreach for George W. More Innacurate Faith Storylines From the Media
God-o-Meter is struck by the number of faith-based storylines the news media appear to have gotten dead wrong this year. I don’t know where or how Hillary became a jewish respector, protector, But, It’s about time we all stand up and be counted. Tell me,!! How can possibly one half of one percent of the worlds population be the subterfuge of malignment,?? to do what????? How, and If, any one has any belief in honesty, and love, be so distructive in a world thats has known nothing but hate, larceny to their soul, (Oh,) excuse me times of hate for any reason opens the door for less than nothing, to engage in such adversarial mannerism. Lets see now. The bible means (do as you want, feel, and believe.)(Ok,) forget about Jesus, God, the people such as Mattthew,Mark,Luke, John, just never happened. Do you believe in History?? any History?? Well, If for no other reason, how can you not believe the people of the Bible?? Do you really believe that the teachings of the bible a fairy tale?? Do you believe in drugs, drunkness, murder,a televsion that has no remorse for the filth that it has, violence?? Have you ever read a great mans words– We are now engaged in a great civil????? oh ya, world,!! to see If a world so??? Sooo, now what do you want?? Need??? Is there a heaven?? Oh thats right, no God no heaven. Right?? When you die we just dig a hole somewhere and ( plotch) there is fertilizer for the next growth of posion ivy. Well, ol boy, I would rather trust there is a god and, there isn’t,!!! than not believe and there is. I must not go on If, IF, you are still with me build a good fire and place your finger in?? Is that a feeling of hell?? or, are you just building a hot place for your self?? I can only ask questions, and answer for myself. This said not in animosity, but love, faith, hope, and forgivness.Burr

How does all the negative campaigning influence your God-o-Meter rating? I am surprised that constant bad-mouthing of opponents doesn’t lower scores. What is the scriptural support for such tactics?
